My parents fucked up my life due to a faulty autism diagnosis (up to the point where I was legally old enough to get a job and at some point finally achieve independence, at least). When I was 19 I beat the fuck out of them, nearly killed them (before the police came) and then spent my 20s in prison. I only got out when I was 32. I don't regret a thing. Those dipshits finally met their end just last year. Good riddance.

N.B. 2. I did not come to their funerals. They were in Maine at the time and I was in North Carolina. If I could I wouldn't have.
