Hey, Self. I know you're down in the dumps. Just remember that you're only in debt because you were underpaid to begin with. Telling you that you lived beyond your means when you're living in a 40-year-old apartment, using a 5-year-old computer and a 9-year-old phone, driving a 20-year-old car, eating 2 meals a day, never travel, never go out, never eat out, have an entertainment spend of <$1000 a year, have zero streaming subscriptions, have no children or significant others to support, and still can't make ends meet, is gaslighting of the most craven order. When the reaper comes for boomer assets, you don't have to have any remorse for the schadenfreude you'll feel. It wasn't just your imagination; they legitimately put you through economic hell for no reason.

I lived in cali a decade ago man, that would still be considered poverty tier back then, I can only imagine how much worse it is nowadays.
But DAMN if I don't miss the scenery and grocery outlet (some of the people, the i5 travelers who tarry have honey on their lips but darkness in their hearts for the most part).
