We used to call that communism and the government picking winners in the free market, but I guess that stuff is okay now.

This is concern only if it disproportionately affects small banks. When people say they hate banks, they generally mean they hate large banks, which don't invest in small businesses or regional communities the way small banks do. Rather they focus on funding large asset purchases which is one of the main drivers of inflation. Given the rate at which large banks have been cannibalizing all the small ones it is a concern. But knowing Jews, theye probably lying and stable coin law is probably more beneficial to small banks.

cause they would have to offer competitive rates/ yields
way cheaper to lobby against defi

You know what's funny my money is in robinhood gold getting 3.5% a month anyway.
>>
>>62115707
Fidelity already lets you do that shit without a crypto middle man. It's not about yield.
>>
>>62115769
any bank can sell you treasuries
that's not the point
the point would be having a deposit, which is liquid cash, that just passively generates 5%

also, stables aren't crypto
I know I posted/typed "defi" but it was my mistake
it's banks vs stablecoins
