It's much more expensive to develop a real game, so to attract investment from Blackrock, etc, I'd need to make changes to the game that would make it less appealing to the demographic I'm trying to get money from.

Because such a big title would require a team. Nepotism and being "in with the culture" gatekeep opportunities for working in the industry. Therefore you'll only have developers who snip their balls off and kowtow to the female dominated culture that thinks pic related is pedophilia.
