Assuming the average person fills up their tank once a week, the average person has paid $250 usd more for gas since gas has went up.

Terrible time to be working class, student, goycattle, wagie or whatever you guys like to call them.

How much have you paid for gas and how has it affected you

>Assuming the average person fills up their tank once a week,
I fill mine up once every other week
>the average person has paid $250 usd more for gas since gas has went up
I haven't even spent $250 on gas since the war started
>>
>>62122677
>once a week
thats a lot of driving bro

its about $3.40 here and it has not impacted me at all.

ive heard its a lot more in California and the EU but they enjoy taxing it a lot more there.
>>
Seriously, let's work out this math out:
Let's assume a generous $5 a gallon gas, that's 50 gallons of gas for $250. A car will get 25-30MPG. On a low end this means 26 miles traveled a day. Who averages that amount?
>>
>>62122677
I've had to put an extra 15 dollars worth of gas into my Miata over the last month. I don't commute to work, but I do commute to my boyfriend's house, 15 minutes both ways, every night so we can suck each other off and watch Smiling Friends and play Overwatch together.
>>
>>62122765
Turns out the average American drives 30 miles, which means we get to about $250 on gas since the war started in total, not $250 more

Turns out you're WRONG that number is the AVERAGE HA
>>
>>62122677
Ytd I've spent $176 on fuel, and that's after filling up yesterday
So that's $50 a month
Literally doesn't matter

My car is filled up once every 3-5 days…Premium gas. I live in a big city and drive across the city to supermarkets I like. How about you guys?
Even when just driving to and from work, I filled up once a week.
>>
>>62122776
This bro. Even simple daily driving and you use up half a tank in like 2-3 days.
Where does everyone itt live?

No offense but how fucking poor is everyone on /biz/?
>>
I'm in ohio
Average monthly income is ~8k
Average expenses are ~3k
Daily commute is about 15 miles, car gets about 25 mpg
So a couple bucks per day at $4 gas
Even if gas prices went to $12, it would barely register
Only trucktards care, and they're the ones who voted for the orange retard and their Jewish masters

So you're saying the average american has purchased 830 gals of gasoline in the last few months? Are you genuinely retarded, or just pretending on the internet for the lulz?
>How much have you paid
$3.48/gal, up from $3.18.

Not at all. This whole thing has been a total nothingburger.

i dont drive much. i live in a walkable city.

>A car will get 25-30MPG
Not in rush hour traffic, in an older 2010s car with 150k plus miles. You will be lucky to get 16 mpg.
>>
>>62123050
>Not at all. This whole thing has been a total nothingburger.
isn't the meme supposed to be we'll run out of reserves in like 2 or 3 days?
like, it might not be a nothingburger, this could only be the tip of the iceberg once reserves run out?

or this another perpetual "2 more weeks" moment
>>

>we'll run out of reserves
>we'll run out

Who's this "we" that this meme is supposedly about? The US? Yurop? The US is fine, we're producing more oil than we consume, and are exporting the excess. Not even the peak oil brainlets claim those wells are going to suddenly run dry in the next 2 or 3 days.

Are you serious? I haven't paid for gas since 2019. It's the gas company that pays me not the other way around.

My state's faggot governor pulled a return to office so I do a little over 50 round trip. I've been using sick leave as vacation time, but that's only chipped a bit off here and there. I hope he gets assassinated.

Yes here in the EU the price has gone bananas, however my diesel tank is currently full, will probably last me til the autumn tbhfam. My car mostly sits in the garage and I take the train. I don't even know why I have a car, I guess just for fun road trips sometimes.

This thread really helped expose how little /biz/ anons spend on gas. Majority don’t even fill up once a week.
It was similar to a thread on /pol/ I was which exposed just how many mexican blue collars hung out on /pol/.

Reality is, high income and rich people consume a lot of gas. And this thread exposed that majority /biz/ are not as well of as posts on others threads would have one think.
Once again, the following facts hold true and should be mentioned to put things into perspective.
>top 10% do 50% of the spending
>top 10% have $251,000 income
>top 10% have 1.1m in equities
>bottom 70% has no savings
>top 70% to 90% are treading water.
It makes sense that 90% of /biz/ are broke.

Yeah, it's brutal for my coworker. He's a 19yo kid with a diesel truck that gets maybe 9-13 mpg. He was struggling before but now he spends all his money going back and forth from work.
>>
One would think with all the ruralfag and suburban muh-all-white-town farm cucks on /biz/, everyone would be spending more on gas cause of all the f-150s or whatever they drive. But no, anons don’t even fill up once a week. lmao.
>>
>>62124122
If I were rich, the only difference is I would order rides instead of taking the train. If I were broke I just wouldn't travel or go into the city at all.
>>
>>62124132
Wtf? Order rides? Like uber?
Idk what EU roads are like in major cities but I am sure it is similar to North America. It is enjoyable to drive. Maybe you would think differently if you bought a decent car or something.
>>
these are the same prices we saw a couple of years ago under Biden, no one cares
>>
>>62124119
i just dont care about driving 24/7 like a normalshit, im busy gooning online with my $4k VR setup on my $7k PC build to loli booth models
>>
>>62124114
>fun road trips
So why aren’t you driving more anyways?
>>
>>62124138
>driving for fun
Road trips are fun, but if you drive in the city for fun in America, well, it's no wonder there's so much traffic.
>>62124144
I did a road trip 3 weeks ago. I'm doing another one this summer. If I were rich, or the price of fuel decreased, I would do more. I'm not sure what your point is.
>>
>>62124141
> my $4k VR setup on my $7k PC build
I was on /g/ and I go there like once every few months to keep up on pc building. I noticed anons have like builds like yours or even more expensive and always upgrading. Then I notice the furniture and overall housing condition and it makes no sense. Furniture is one of THE most noticeable difference in rich or non rich homes.
There are like 5k set ups on 200 dollar tables or less. Wierd.
Like my chair cost $1000 leather 20 years ago and I legit have a dark wood ceo desk that 40-70s movies had.
Yet all the people on /g/ have constant upgrades but you can tell they don’t live in nice areas.
>>
>>62124152
> If I were rich, or the price of fuel decreased, I would do more. I'm not sure what point is
This thread really helped expose how little /biz/ anons spend on gas. Majority don’t even fill up once a week.
It was similar to a thread on /pol/ I was on which exposed just how many mexican blue collars hung out on /pol/.

Pretty revealed that regardless of how much shit flinging there is on /biz/, the real world stats rung true. I was honestly expecting more anons to say, “yeah I spend $50 more on gas each week, no biggie.”

Turns out we have anons like you who don’t even drive. lmao. Where are all the expensive truck drivers or luxury vehicles owners or “business owners” on /biz/ spending more on gas?

Turns out only top 10% keeps increasing their spending no matter what and you need $251k income or at least 1.1m in equity to qualify for top 10%. Keep those stats in mind whenever you’re in any thread. Most anons are not even opening 20k or 30k positions on stocks.
>>
>>62124180
>/biz/ is one person
Surprise surprise, the people earning money are too busy to lurk and post here. Excuse me while I die of surprise.
>>
>>62124188
Not even bro. There are anons here who talk so much shit and it turns out they were talking shit.
What happened to all the traders? They just trade at home right?
Elon Mush has time post on X 24/7. Trump is up all night posting. lol.
>>
>>62124155
mate assmongol lives in a dump and hes a multimillionaire, its just what perma online virgins do, youre talking about rich normies dont expect to find anyone here like that
>>
>>62124188
It isn’t a “surprise.” It just revealed the basic economic data as a good benchmark to fall back on.
Reality is, 90% of people are treading water at best. Seriously, how do you not fill up your tank once a week?
Especially with all the anons who boast about not living the city?
Arent there more distance to travel?
Even in a big city, there is a lot of highway high speed driving.
Turns our rural or suburban people are people who cannot afford the city.

Last week someone talked shit to me on biz. He said he bought a home in Conneticut and in a nice area and told me “good luck.” The next day I heard an interview from the nyc mayor that people that cannot afford nyc move to Connecticut. Lmao.
>>
>>62124200
He is ugly bro. No offense to him. Look at his phenotype. It makes sense he lives like that.
>>
>>62124200
> youre talking about rich normies dont expect to find anyone here like that
Why? What happened to all the stock traders here?
>>
>>62124200
K ignoring his looks, I am just saying I am not surprised he lives like that because he looks bad. I also would not have been surprised if he was clean and had nice furniture and everything.
I guess money really can’t buy class.
Did you see the furniture in the politician guys home who got firebomed? THAT was nice in there. But you’re right, a lot celeb homes also has ugly furniture. Money cant buy taste.
>>
>>62124209
i know hes a joke but thats how a lot of /g/ays live, most of this site really doesnt give much shit about things like furniture, new house/car, traveling etc, pretty sure all the anons i meet over the years are mostly perma online, even the ones with a really good job just go back home immediately to get on the PC.
>>
>>62124206
>Seriously, how do you not fill up your tank once a week?
Like I said, I take the train whenever I want to go into the city. I don't want to deal with parking or traffic and I might want to have a drink. I think it's kinda weird that you're using someone's fuel consumption as a unique metric of their lifestyle.
>Last week someone talked shit to me on biz
Yeah it kind of sounds like you're still arguing with him in your head bro, no offense but you know, who cares lol
>>
>>62124222
> even the ones with a really good job just go back home immediately to get on the PC.
If you are out 3-5 hours a day simply enjoying the city, you will refill your car once a week. Or drive to supermarkets once a day. Or restaurants once a day.
Little things like these and this thread reveal the economic reality most people face. 90% of people have cut back spending.
Even driving to work is almost guaranteed filling up once a week lol
>>
>>62124215
i trade stock
>>62124220
maybe it cant buy class.
however what i can confirm is that money cant help me stop being a lazy faggot, in fact its probably making me even lazier.
all of the things your talking about seem utterly pointless to me, more effort than worth etc, if it works it works cant be arsed to replace anything when i dont even get visitors since im alone
>>
>>62124233
>If you are out 3-5 hours a day
im out 3-5 hours a month kek
>>
>>62124228
>Last week someone talked shit to me on biz
He did which isn’t the problem. But literally next day, Mayor Mademi did like an hour interview on Al Jazeera and he legitimately said “NYC is too expensive and many people here move to surrounding areas like Connecticut.”
That anon also threw in a “all white town” or some shit. Well guess what, that just means poor too. That dumb ass loser.
>>
>>62124237
Well, not just for you but for wealthy people.
Have you been to furniture stores for rich people?
There is a really expensive store I saw online and it was so fancy. Like chairs or tables go for multi thousands. We dont even need to go into top 1% furniture. Maybe just top 10%. Reality is, if you got money, you buy the best regardless of what it is.
>>
>>62124248
Doesn’t matter. You need a chair? You buy a chair meant for your class.
You need a desk? You buy a desk for your class.
You need knives and forks, you buy for your class.
>>
>>62124267
idk mate its easier to just do what ive always done, walk down to the local shop 3min away from me and buy some random stuff to eat, im used to it.
the fancy stuff is too far away and ordering food im not sure what to call so i havent bothered finding out.
i know its not furniture but for that i just dont care about replacing, taking it all out and taking new stuff in sounds like a lot of work ngl
>>
>>62124282
well i got this stuff before i had a lot of money, it hasnt broken so i havent bothered replacing.
>>
>>62124299
Well, when they break maybe you will look at fancy chairs. Know someone with two basic chairs costing 200 each.
If it wasn’t this thread, someone will immediately chime in and say “what, 200 a chair is so cheap, are you poor?”
>>
>>62122848
> no offense bro
> you're fucking poor bro
Why do people always say "don't mean to be rude" as an excuse for being rude?
>>
>>62124499
Because it isn’t meant to be rude
>>
I filled up every 3-4 days but my company pays double what my gas costs so im still making money off it. When gas prices go up so does my stipend thing.
