This petty jealousy of the US (what’s to be jealous of another flawed model) and this continual animosity reemerging of old hatreds and a kind of harking for old European colonial supremacy over the likes of Africa and Eurasia.
It amusing given we are getting our arse handed to us by the Chinese and others.

This picture changed a lot from last week to the nigger friday, when the market was saying 30% maintain 70% hike this year, but somehow this situation suddenly changed again to the perspective of 1 week ago, and on top of that, the chances of a rate cut for this year increased significantly over the weekend for some reason.

>>62331997 I was doing training for it over the last 2 years (big mistake I'm essentially now restarting my life at 30 realizing I'm not cut out for dev). It was different when people were using it as a tool for like a more tailored google search in a way. But what I'm seeing now is its total use throughout everywhere and people are mainly just basically offloading all cognitive ability to it. Over the passed two weeks something changed with the training too. Before all projects and tasks were setup where it was obviously structured and written by humans. This is no longer the case. The projects now available to work are all themselves being written by AI. You have some of the ceos also saying that the models are basically going to start training themselves...
This would quite literally be AGI. And is a falsehood. The models themselves will deteriorate without human involvement. I really wish we could go back because broader society seems to me like people are being lulled into as real.
Are people here shitposting when they cry about only having 100k/200k/300k at 30? I feel like a ton of people 40+ don't even have that kind of money saved.

>>62332301 I always thought the "SAMSUNG CYBERPUNK DISTOPIA" video essays on Youtube were inaccurate.
1. South Korea is an oligarchy of several chaebols. Samsung is big, but it doesn't rule Korea alone. Also, Samsung is in bed with one party, but it's enemies with the current ruling party, which jails the owner every 10 years for sport and forces pro-labor laws down its throat to weaken Samsung.
2. Small countries with no natural resources must pool all of its effort into one big conglomerate, or it will be swept away in global competition. It needs one or two big punches; it can not profit in a "fair" economy with 100 companies. Imagine in TSMC in Taiwan was instead scattered among 10 smaller companies. Taiwan would not be a global economy. A "Samsung dystopia" is a necessary evil, because Korea has no alternative.
>>62332286 mram qbts and rgti helped too, but most of my money made on those 2. pray and follow your heart and you'll find something. technically i did research but it didn't feel like it, felt like synchronicity
My parents have been coming to me about investment advice but they never bother to educate themselves on investing. My mom asks me "should I do this? Should I buy this? Is this okay?" I don't fucking know? It's your money??? They don't even know anything about their portfolio, which funds invest in which sectors, and which ones are higher risk. I keep warning them about dividend etfs that promise a higher than 5% yield and explaining to them why etfs like those are usually unsustainable but they still don't get it. I recommend them all in one equity index funds because at least those ones the asset value go up, unlike dividend etfs, but they only care about the fucking high yield dividends. And they only buy etfs that were recommended to them by their friend and they don't bother doing their own research about them. I have explained so many concepts to them, like dca or the point of broad market index funds, but they still don't get it. It's like they only think line go up and it's so fucking annoying.
>>62331436 I've never felt so comfy bros. Buy some ONDS, ACHR, and LAC. Hold for a couple of years or longer. Put the rest into Municipal state funds/bonds like NAZ, NAC, NKX and keep adding to it per paycheck making dividends tax free. It's FREE money thats giving me more than those money markets.

>>62332337 That's dumb. The reason it's down is because the shares are being bought for 135 at the IPO Makes sense to sell the overpriced ones on hyperliquid and get cash ready to buy them from people who got assigned and are looking to sell at a nice 10-20% profit
>>62332333 Try what >>62332349 said first but in the case they still want higher dividends you can suggest GPIQ and GPIX it's high dividend and still has some growth They might be more ok with that and it's not some yieldmax bs
>>62332349 >>62332361 And the reason it's VGT at 30% because it's the only thing that has enough growth to push through the brakes their dividend chasing does to their portfolio without using leverage. If it was VTI it'd barely even matter at 30% and wouldn't move their portfolio. VGT pushes more than double its weight, so it'd perform like a portfolio that's 60/40 VTI on good years.
