If you remortgage and release equity every 2-5 years you'll be extremely rich compared to renters.
It's just insane how much you gain by being long on your house and stocks at the same time.

This shit is getting more convoluted and retarded every day. Lmfao.

Rent vs. Buy is a question of your skills + the job market + your personality traits + your IQ + your family dynamics + the housing/rental market in your area.

Unless you understand all of those things, you're making a decision out of emotion and ignorance, not a calculated decision.

wrong because housing is in a large bubble and you will lose a lot compared to those who are renting and then buying the bottom

Every single asset class is in a huge bubble now and will eventually burst, but housing is illiquid so it can weather the storm better. Also you are delusional to think renters will have dry powder at the bottom. Retail is not hoarding cash because of inflation.
