Bag is superior and I have no idea why other countries don't use them. >can be held dangling in the same hand as all your other grocery bags >can even hold more than one bag of milk in one hand >can be stuffed in the fridge at any angle >actual milk bags are protected by outer bag so they won't be dirty as fuck
>>22049047 >choosing a superior product for health & the environment is being a poser hipster Well then call me the biggest poser hipster of all time! >>22048506 Idk im not american
>>22049030 >>can be held dangling in the same hand as all your other grocery bags >>can even hold more than one bag of milk in one hand these points don't matter to men because we have normal sized hands that can carry 3 gallon jugs at once.
Milk bags are easier to make and a lot more environmently friendly, but the big problem is that they are delicate and rip easily. I still remember buying milk when it was still in bags >Grabbing into the tray where the bags are stacked >Cold and wet because at least one bag has yet again ripped and link is all over every one of them. >Take several and hold them to check if they are still sealed And still I remember more than once quickly hurrying back home after noticing it dripping out of my grocery bag.
>>22049652 >Milk bags are easier to make and a lot more environmently friendly >plastic is more environmentally friendly than paper are you entirely sure about that?
>>22050073 You don't really think that milk cartons are just made out of carton, do you? Try pouring some milk into a normal package carton and see how it goes. ON the other hand the basically pure plastic foil is easily recycable or burn without much of problematic substances.
>>22050156 The problem everyone is taking about are the bags that DON'T get burned or recycled. The ones that get into the environment. The featherlight bags are then blown everywhere and end up in the rivers and oceans. Under UV radiation they then slightly decompose into smaller pieces which end up in fishes and other marine life. And of course pollute nature in general.
>>22050167 >The problem everyone is taking about are the bags that DON'T get burned or recycled. The ones that get into the environment. my brown friend, what exactly to you imagine happens to the plastic bags you burn in your favela? do you think the smoke just floats away into outer space and never "gets into the environment"?
>>22050170 I don't know what exactly you inhale when you put another one in your barrel fire because in civilzed countries garbage is burned in industrial scale incinerators. How high do you think the percentage of those featherlight bags is in all the garbage that is burned in there? That said, especially plastic bags should be recycled, they are among the cleanest/purest most easily recycable plastic products, every bag that is just burned is a waste of petroleum resources.
>>22050199 >if we just make a really big "industrial" pile of our garbage then we can burn it all and it just disappears damn i wish you could teach us this incredible favela magic
>>22050167 >>22050199 checked It disturbs me to think you consider burning plastic to be both civilized and environmentally friendly. I really hate what you're inspiring in my heart and mind. You're making me lean towards a solution of ethnic cleansing, or towards forced isolation of your people from technology you could abuse, such as fire. Regardless, milk should be stored and shipped in glass containers, ideally.
>>22050640 those are the square cartons. the direct alturntative to the bagged milk is the 4L plastic jug that dont have all those layers. they are very useful as water containers and many other things on my little farm. ive even used them filled with water to hang on the branches of fruit trees im training into better shapes.
>>22051198 >Carbon dioxide Implying that CO2 is the only thing falling back to Earth? You're too dumb to exist, and I feel the same about you as I feel about India's people. You're too irresponsible for the scant technology you possess. You're polluting your lands with industrial waste, and you don't even realize it. Let the micro-plastics fall like snow, then. you're only proving what you are.
>>22053891 It releases hazardous chemicals into the air which the precipitate back down to Earth, contaminating it in the process. Both dumping into rivers and burning plastic are bad for different reasons. If you knew how to search online, you would find many answers to your question.
>>22055734 poor people in europe know that they're poor and don't larp as temperarily embarrassed millionaires who couldn't be caught cooking their own food because it's povertycoded
3 1.33 liters bags versus one carton You open one bag the other two are still sealed + the bagged milk is always half the price the price of the carton milk
