I'm Cajun. Love my food and culture. I'm all about Mexican food though. Just can't get enough. What ethnic food do you love as much or more as your own? What is about it that gets you? Is it like your own or different? Only thing close between Cajun and Mexican would be the spice of the peppers. But I could live on only Mex food.

Big on chinese food because I've come to love ginger, green onions, 5-spice powder, szechuan pepper, and oyster sauce.

I really like middle eastern, Mexican, and Italian for savory; but for sweets I go American

The middle eastern doesn't do it for me. Worse than Indian to me. Tastelet I guess.

I'm a wop but I really like Chinese food. I grew up in a chinese community basically and most of my friends are chinese as well so I've been exposed to it for a long time. Constantly being around it though means that I never actually cook it though and I should really get on that.

Being a wop though means I tend to eat really light so while I really like all the fried food, I think I love simple dishes like soups and anything steamed

Was it like a Chinatown or were there just a lot of Chinese people around?

Mexican & indian are top tier imo. Lots of spice and flavour.

Basically but more like a modern chinatown so less old buddhist temples and more like 500 boba shops amidst other things

I love Japanese curry and yakisoba. Their curry is kind of like goulashes we eat in Poland but we don't really stir fry noodles or anything.
I hate sushi though.
Chinese is really damn good too. Today I made something between chow mein and yakisoba.

In the world of stir fry there is an underrated heavyweight from Sri Lanka called Kottu Roti. Chickpea curry, butter chicken curry, the usual vegetables and spices along with an egg and a roti bread chopped up on a flat top grill. If you like any form of Mexican/Indian then you need to find and try this

You aren’t fooling anyone Gino. Go scarf down another plate of cannolis.

Same, grew up in Bensonhurst which used to be where the mob hung out in Brooklyn but then became basically another Chinatown. Also the reason I have yellow fever.
