Getting interviewed by 2 people at the same time tomorrow for big boy cooking job. Been reading official book and watching a shit ton of vids about servsafe manager. Any advice? I feel oddly calm

When you’re shaking hands with the bosses wiggle your middle finger in their palms they’ll think it’s some secret society thing and figure they want this guy on the team

Love that image :3
Some advice:
Don’t be afraid to say something like “I’d have to double check but i believe the answer is XYZ” if they try to drill you on servsafe specifics and you actually don’t remember. Anyone reasonable can respect when someone acknowledges they need to find out instead of confidently saying some incorrect shit.
Review the job listing responsibilities, and try to make sure you can speak to your experience handling those types of responsibilities.
My friend recently made a tough hiring decision between two employees based on one of them sharing their vision/goals for the position. That might be too presumptuous for you to benefit from since you’re not a longtime employee but i figure I’d share anyway.
Maybe plan to share how you see yourself effectively supporting the kitchen/staff/leadership if you get the position?
Good luck!

You can always look it up. Life is an open book test now.

Be confident in yourself. Don't see them as superiors but either colleagues or adversaries.
If they don't want you then fuck em.

Any tips or tricks for working in a professional kitchen? The one I came from was full of degenerate alcoholics, my new one everyone just appears to be stoner.

Is there a good youtube video of, " congrats you're hired as a line cook, here's how to get good at your job"
