TIL pistachios in alfredo sauce are apparently a thing? Ever try this? I’m wondering how fettuccine alfredo would be with some pistachios just tossed in.

Probably not terrible. Cream sauces lend themselves pretty well to nuts. It would be better with shallot (like the jar sauce in your pic) than a shitload of garlic, but not enough to go out of your way to get shallots if they're not right there.
