>Bottle of water at airport: $6.00
We just don't know OP. Maybe the government can form some sort of committee and investigate these price discrepancies.

Why do you think, OP?
Tell us your best guesses.

Value added. Popcorn is difficult to cook correctly. If it were easy, everybody would have access to affordable snacks. Check your privledge if you have mastered the techniques for making popcorn. The majority of people have to rely on commercial providers. The equipment required to make popcorn is out of reach of most people. Have some empathy, asshole.

True. Popcorn chefs spend over a decade learning their craft. I've heard that they spend the first 2 years merely learning to handle the fake butter flavoring. Absolutely riveting.

I saw a documentary one time, it was in French, so I didn't grasp it all, but you are right, quite impressive.

>put the bag in the microwave and follow the instructions on the pack
>shake the bag afterwards so the unpopped kernels fall out of the bottom of the barely opened bag
>pour the popped corn into a bowl

There is a saying in Japan about cooking popcorn- opening the bag takes 3 years to master, placing the bag in the microwave is 8 years, and pressing the correct button takes a whole lifetime to master.

Correct. It's even worse if you want to learn to make popcorn in a pot (2-3 lifetimes). Or, god forbid, a wok (5 lifetimes)...

The food store sells food but the movie store sells movies. It is a subtle distinction.

I think movie theaters make most of their money on food and drinks and if people just bought movie tickets they'd go broke

Grazing. I like that. Good term for what it is. All the fat fucks I know are costantly near food. Small stuff, but never far from another mouthfull. Grazing is a good term for it.
>>
>>22054747
Are you ESL? Grazing has been a fat fuck and diet culture term for decades.
>>
>>22054749
No, I only speak Freedom English. I've just never heard the term applied to fat fucks before. It makes sense though. The 3 severely overweight people I work with ALWAYS have some form of liquid and solid calories within arms reach. Monster and pretzels, dutch bros and popcorn, etc. Comparing it to cows always munching on grass and chewing cud is an apt way to describe it.
