I'm going to try my hand at making some blueberry banana bread. Is it fine to use whole blueberries or should I slice them in half? I tried strawberry banana bread a while ago and I diced them pretty small but I think it turned otu alright. What gives the best mouthfeel?

I already picked up fresh ones, can i just bake them on low heat for a while?

nah. just use the fresh ones whole.

Blueberries just kind of melt into the bread. Maybe reduce your other hydration levels a small amount, but really they will just incorporate nicely.

I prefer cooking but it's nice every now and then, I can get something tasty and then bring the rest in to the office

Although it does have some weird AI looking elements, it is obviously not meatloaf

Fresh are fine, I’ve never used dried blueberries in baking. You’d want bigger berries like a cran or a cherry
Honestly i like frozen berries for stuff like breads and muffins, not sure how blasphemous that is but it always comes out nice

I’d use whole, blueberries are so small and soft inside to begin with that sliced blueberries might mostly meld into the bread
