A thread for sharing 'female gaze'-esque shotacon art, both eastern and western, very often-wise drawn by (suspected) female artists. Share any you know as I'd love to build my collection! Discussion of the female shotacon experience is also encouraged alongside image posting.
I have nothing against the (gay) males of this board. I'm just interested in seeing more art and artists in this very specific genre, plus hearing what others have to say from personal anecdotes.
No realistic artwork or paintings pls.

I find nowadays there's a lot more hen-picking in more fandom-y spaces over the topic of shotacon. Many spots, forums or IBs made for other women to use look down heavily on the subject. Which is sad, because I find that men are generally a lot more agnostic towards it and lolicon.

*henpecking
...is probably the actual way you say that lol.
Anyway, the funniest thing I've ever seen come out that was one woman calling for a genocide against all autistic people in order to stop shotacons from existing.

South Park definitely has some of the biggest, long-running collection of shotacons ever, and understandably so. I've have yet to see it in its entirety but a lot of episodes, characters and story beats just scratch my brain in such a good way. Plus it's very funny.
I'll never understand Creek though.

What is "female gaze-esque" about any of the art posted here? Maybe post something that's more male gaze so you can help us understand? It feels like you just wanted to create another /co/ thread in all honesty.

They're made by women and follow a similar pattern of art trends, niches and/or adhere to shipping culture prominent in those spaces. I do believe in a difference in how men and women express shota love, especially in art, and I don't see one as being superior to the other. I just wish to see more examples.
>It feels like you just wanted to create another /co/ thread in all honesty.
I mostly just have cartoon stuff out of preference, and it's the most overt example of what I'm talking about too. Black Butler I know is possibly the most famous eastern case of what I mean, and it definitely shows in its style and writing.

I think some things that I see commonly that are most recognizable as being "male gaze" are body part hyper-ism, smell and underwear fetishism, focus on the male buttocks and anus, interest in "full-time" otokonoko characters such as Astolfo, Bridgette or Hideri, and general sex play most popular with gay men as a whole (jockstraps, pupmasks, poppers, etc).
I hope I'm making some sense here.

Ignore the thread if you don't agree with it's premise. I'm being as clear and direct with what I'm describing, yet you entirely mischaracterize it as something else.
If you know, you know.

I think the idea of "male" or "female" gaze shotas is complicated by there being multiple prevailing styles and sets of preferences for each sex. But if I had to pick one boy to represent what I think of as "female gaze" shotas, it would be Syaoran.

Every piece of artwork posted was drawn by a women. Which is part of the main premise of the thread. I listed counter examples that are more popular with guys but of course, no one bothers to read.

Being made by a woman or women and consequently influenced by women's aesthetic sensibilities. In practice this is identified in an "I know it when I see it" sort of way. Because it's really more of an aggregate of all features rather than one or a few diagnostic ones. And, like I said, there are multiple different preferences and types of boys associated with each sex, sometimes even having somewhat contradictory features compared to one another.
There is one that I can only describe as the "little man". These would be boys like Hanako. Tsubaki also has elements of this, in spite of his age. They're still cute and boyish. They're not just shrunk down men. But they are deceptively manly. Almost all other shotas are more heavily skewed towards highlighting their neoteny. Even bara-esque muscle shos tend to have baby faces. But with these "little men" there is more of a willingness to let their masculinity pull them a little towards maturity; in their faces, in their attitudes, in their clothes and how they frame their body.
But then on the other extreme you have doll-like shotas. These would be both Cooro and especially Husky from +Anima that has been posted about recently in the regular shota general. These are pretty boys biased hard towards androgyny, with their masculinity mostly expressed through their behavior rather than their appearance. And even in their behavior, they tend to be especially child-like. They're not necessarily traps, but they're definitely not manly, either.
These are totally different kinds of boys. But they're both way more likely to come from a woman than a man. And it's the same on the men's side. Muscle shos and full time traps another anon mentioned further up are two types of boy that couldn't be further apart. And yet they do both have in common that they are mostly made by men.
You can't point to any one feature and say "this is what makes it male/female gaze". But there are trends you can notice.

I took the time to read it and I still think that it’s a bullshit explanation. According to it’s theory, I have a female gaze, and am thus a woman, yet unlike op, I am not a tranny; I’ll double down, I love shota of all shapes and sizes, this distinction is baseless and is uber likely just a tranny trying to get a foid tell he that she has good tastes, and validate her as a tranny by calling her taste female gaze.
tldr Husky from +anime is hummina hummina, op is a tranny

I'm not OP. And I'm a man. And the whole reason I came to this thread to begin with is because I like shotas made by women. I also like shotas made by men. I have favorites from both. Acknowledging the differences isn't an attack or anything. It's like acknowledging that there are difference between eastern and western art styles. We have a /co/ boys thread. So a shotas made by women thread isn't that different.
And I wasn't saying anything bad about Husky. I also think he's super cute.

Thank you anon for being better with words than I could ever be, and for giving me the benefit of the doubt instead of baselessly assuming I’m a tranny.
I think some anons see the OP title and immediately get defensive, thinking its very existence is an attack on their character. I don’t personally subscribe to the idea on can change their gender, but obviously men and women have difference what we prefer, even in the little things. I added the stipulation that much of the art come from female artists, so that definition was more ‘concrete’ and easier to obverse.
I also just wanted to see other girl shotacons talk about their experience. It’s very isolating to be one in fandom spaces.

I get you OP. I think there's a clear distinction when it comes to art made by women, but I think what you're mostly referring to is stuff that's "fandom-y" instead of a generalized statement between what men draw vs what women draw.
I think the recurring theme here is a focus on art that feels like the artist ships the characters. I'm hard pressed to assume that a man would draw pic related for example. Not sure why it feels that way, but my guess is because the focus is on drawing the characters in a cute scenario rather than a solo drawing meant to titillate the viewer.

I'm not disagreeing with you there. Although I consider yuri fans similar to BL fans and many of those yuri artists are also women. Either way, I don't think there are a lot of men are shipping boys together even if they are the type to ship girls together. The focus is not on what men draw vs what women draw like OP stated, since there are always cases that deviate from the norm.

A lot of artists I've noticed really love cutting/selfharm, especially Chinese and Korean ones. I don't see it much with shotas as I do just general OCs or adult characters but maybe I'm not looking in the right spots.

Depends. I'm more of a voyeur than a self-inserter.
Generally though, I think a lot of women do since you have more room to be "assertive" as a man in a way that femdom can't really account for.

Fandom hashtags on Tumblr and Twitter. Ao3 if you're a writer.

Yes
>Do they envision themselves in the role of the Nii-san who gets to fuck the shota
Yes. Like >>4043079 I feel myself as inserting more into the role of a voyeur, very attracted to the sole beautiful figure of a 'shota', though at times there is an element of desiring to love him as the males do. Shota is love, shota is life.

these faggots complaining about having two shota threads... I'm glad there's one for strictly cartoon and anime art. I hate realistic shota art.
I agree that "female gaze" shotacon artwork is hard to define if you aren't already familiar with what you're looking for. Maybe we could call it a wholesome shota thread instead, do you think it'll help curb infighting? when I think of works created by female shotacon I think of cute stuff like >>4041932 and >>4041968
they lean more erotic than explicit.

.’. if when there’re consequences for a group of people it’s more often due to the actions of a few being used to punish everyone. you can say it’s unfair, but you’re wrong; it’s not discrimination either.

it was a fear of getting punished legally, not moralfagging kek. I think adminjo must have been based in the US or something. I'm sure the announcement is still on meta board.
I mostly just miss the ability to post multiple pictures on a single reply.
don't the guys depraved shit get deleted though? felt like anytime I went through shota threads here there'd be tons of replies to deleted posts.

4chan is based in the US. And that's the reason you can post shota porn on /b/. The reason you can't post porn here is because it is a blue board. And the reason you can't post shota porn specifically on /y/ is because everyone knows deep down that if you could it would become a de facto shota porn board and that would look bad to advertisers.

>/y/ is because everyone knows deep down that if you could it would become a de facto shota porn board and that would look bad to advertisers.
Pretty much, I used to browse /cm/ more in 2017 when it appeared more like a mirror counterpart to /c/. Even as a blue board, the sheer dominance of shota is all over the place. You can probably imagine how much more extreme it'd be on an actual porn board.
Admittedly I'm kind of glad it isn't. I love them dearly, but a lot of standalone shota porn images tend to be fairly tasteless most of the time.

I didn't know 4chan was based in the US to be honest, I always assumed it was based elsewhere. thank you for the info, you learn something new everyday lol

it feels like there's barely any IBs aimed at women, too. I can only think of Fujochan and lolcow. You wouldn't be able to have a shota thread on the latter.. not without every other reply calling all of the posters pedophiles.

It's funny because take a gander at the general where nonas talk about fetishes they're ashamed of and you'll see that there's a loooooot of shotacons. Dramafags amirite.
