That being said. Why not bring as many people as possible to clobber the remaining ~40 enemies you plan on purging? It's just painfully obvious that the Coalition didn't really plan out this final assault on Viltrum at all and that's why it ultimately fails and leads to even dumber developments.

I also think going to a place where the Viltrums had massed was a bad call and it would be smarter to setup a blockade far enough back that the VIltrumites would expose their rear if they tried to make a coordinated assault so the Coalition could collapse on them if needed. Just keep picking them off with Space Racer if they try to leave in small enough numbers. Take the long approach and wear them down with a war of attrition. It's weird the millennia old Thaddeus didn't think of this and instead went for final standoff.

That laser was as strong as SB's gun, likely stronger. The gun was probably weaker than even Jackie Chun's Kamehameha, on par at best. Thragg is going life and death against Jackie Chun and most likely loses since the guy can hypnotize him to sleep and just blast him for free.

Anyone stronger, like Tao Pai Pai, can fold him in half with just his tongue.

Deciding to slim everyone down to more "realistic" sizes really hurts the imposing nature of Thragg. I think part of the reason it's so believable how strong he is, is just because of how fucking huge the guy is.
