Now that Spider-Gwen’s title is canceled, combined her’s with Miles.
Like they did in the 1970s with “Daredevil and Black Widow” or “Captain America and the Falcon” or “Power Man and Iron Fist.”

Try this…

Why would you want to make him better? It's like trying to put makeup on your tumor to make it prettier instead of just cutting it out
This character has literally no reason to exist except as a vent for Americans' burning desire to virtue signal over how much they love black people

Have Miles date Araná.
She’s a hot Latina that also lives in Brooklyn. And possesses spider powers.

Vinegaroon. In big bold letters and marketing material blasted across all of Disney's social media...except with some of the margins cropping part of the name off...I think you can surmise which margin it might be....

Just make him peter’s robin and have the two working togheter.
Later peter must end his career to be both a family man and scientist under fantastic 4, and so he can give his mantle to his protege Myles and sometimes helping him when two spidermen are required (until it is mayday’s turn to join).
It is that simple, and it worked really well in the first Spiderverse movie and the first game + Myles’s dlc

>How would you co make miles better?
Give him his own title, different powers and different enemies.
>>
>>153253843
>Give him an actual origin that makes sense within the 616 canon
>Make him the younger, bachelor Spider-Man that editorial seems to think fans have a boner for and let Peter be the adult, married, stable career Spider-Man the fans actually want
>Miles and Peter have a more antagonistic relationship where Peter doesn’t want Miles to ruin his life with being Spider-Man like his was/really isn’t cool with the idea of this new guy showing up calling himself Spider-Man whereas Miles thinks Peter needs to step aside and let him be Spider-Man

Miles should have had his own brand by now.
I would have unironically chose "Black Widow" because he's black, and a widow is a species of spider but that name is already taken.
Since Miles' webs are electric, i would have give a name like "Shockweb" or "Webmaster" but my point is... Peter is too established to share the Spider-Man mantel with someone else. And even though i still like the idea of the boomer Peter training a kid to become the next guardian of NY while he's out there being a dad with MJ, i don't like the way Miles is written in most of his comics run to be "superior to Peter in everything", that's disrespect. make him a Robin, or a Terry McGinnis, but nerf Peter to push him.
Also this >>153253858 is a fucking great idea:
Make him anti-hero/vigilante, has no powers, but is a prep-time king using his tech to wallcrawl and web-slinging, in a Gothamesque NY.
As for Gwen Stacy, i don't mind, but it shouldn't have been "Gwen Stacy" like the one that's historically a Peter love interest and dies, aka Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy, she should have been the "daughter of Gwen Stacy", but named differently (Gwenaelle Stacy, daughter of Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy for example)

The ONLY answer is to reboot Miles Morales and turn him into a ghetto hood nigga who wears timbs says nigga drinks 40s and fucks a bunch of bitches of all races, would be the best selling comic of the last FORTY YEARS!!! Marvel needs to rip that fucking bandaid off already and go the extra mile, DC has always excelled in fantastical edge which is what they’re learning hard into now but marvel always had the advantage when it comes to political and realistic edge, but they’ve become giant pussies who push the status quo instead of bending it and causing people to question their own moraility and environment

Okay, here me out. This is going to sound odd. Miles started out as someone stepping up to be Spiderman with Peter dead. This no longer works. Miles would be Spiderman for a bit while trying to become his own entity. Give him an arc of trying new shit out. Finally, you leave the choice of the new identity to a fan poll

Wow all these ideas sound terrible.
Good thing none of you are in charge at Marvel.

Honestly, most of the issue wit Miles was the abrupt transfer to 616. His overlaps with Peter made some sense in 1610, the shared villans and supporting characters. The inherited web-shooters. Even the wisecracks because he was filling spider-man's shoes.
When he got moved to 616 all that disappeared, Peter had never died, Miles had never stepped up, he'd never had a reason to fight peter's villans specifically or even get given web-shooters let alone inherit the name. It's one thing to carry on the fight in a heroes name, it's another to turn around and tell the world "i'm spider-man too" with no context.
What he really needed was a really well written, by an AA author, miniseries introducing him to 616 and giving him a reason to be "Spider-Man" to the world.

Make him not use his spider powers at first. Hes a brat and wannabe harass like Peter was as a teen.
He useses them as a wannabe villain. He screws up and gets someone killed, perhaps a friend or girlfriend who was trying to stop him, despite trying to help them.
He goes through the motions of life and tries to off himself before being saved by Spiderman who was keeping an eye on him the whole time.
The usual rooftop talk and he gives him the responsibility speech.
He decides to become not quite a hero but someone with power who decides to help people with it. Sometimes hes not heroic, hes just a jerk kid learning the ropes and screwing up.
But hes still a good kid at heart and tries his best. Bonus points if hes into comics/anime.

True, i mostly asked this because i had read his books a couple of months ago and absolutetly hated everything except ahmed's run, even tho it does go into a downward spiral at the end.
I think WebShock would work so much better too,

you kinda can't. He had a chance in the ultimate universe but they totally had no faith in the character which is why they just handed him most of Peter's old shit, which is a shame because he had quite a few unique things going for him. Just having 2 living parents with 1 going schizo could have carried a lot not to mention his uncle. In 616 it's a lost cause entirely

He came out in the worst time imo. The ultimate universe was constantly into super hero wars and apocaliptic levels of events every day it barely left space for miles to develop into something unique because they had to repeat the same character reaction.
>"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, YOU ARENT SPIDERMAN!!!!!!!!"
>"YOU'RE A KID GO HOME, leave the work to the professionals"
>*gets his shit slapped*
>*miles uses his broken powers*
>"wow you're actually worth of being spiderman"

I wouldn't have given him the outrageously blessed life the comics gave him.
No, he wouldn't have gone to a rich kid's school so he didn't have to deal with the realities of going to a poor public school in New York.
No, his powers wouldn't be 'Peter but better-er!'
No, he wouldn't be given to all-green by everyone Peter knew
No, he wouldn't get Pete's web-slingers and webbing formula and a best-friend who's nerdy enough to make said webbing for him because Miles is too cool for that.
No, he wouldn't get refugee status in 616 because he gave molecule man a burger.
No he wouldn't have an electric sword.
No, he wouldn't get away with just colour-swapping Pete's outfit.
No, he wouldn't inherit Pete's rogues because none of them would give a flying fuck about the false spider

You would have to kill Pete like the movies. Give Miles his cast like they did in his first appearance and go from there. That would make Miles better however it would make 616 irreparably worse.
If you needed to keep Pete alive (which I would highly recommend)
>timeskip Miles through college
>have his schtick be the friendly cross-dimensional spider-man
>all his adventures and rogue's gallery involve dimension hopping
>like take his setting and home life out of NY completely
>has his shock ability been explained? Change the power slightly and explain it away as the same phenomenon that happens in the movies where they can't stabilize when in a different dimension except it's something he can control
>make the cross-dimensional bitches love spider-man
