Kind of. AMC was greedy and slashed the budget despite how much money the show was making them and Amazon's budget is definitely not going into the animation.

invincible doesn't really feel like your standard evil superman story it feels like a comic that's mixing together different surface level tropes to create drama and omni-man is just part of that. There's literally no reason for the viltrums to be so cartoonishly evil but they are for the sake of the plot.
