I'm normally fond of Jax and tend to think Jax haters can be overdramatic, but I forget this scene.
And looking at it, I find it disturbing how with this being the most popular episode, he remains the most popular character, especially amongst children. It looks and feels exactly like an angry/abusive guy that loses his head and reacts coldly and violently when a woman makes him feel the tiniest bit emasculated.
Why is such a character coddled so much? I don't exactly blame the characters, because not even Ragatha saw how aggressive this was, since she was immediately shot. And then he puts a mask back on when Pomni comes around.

But all the characters are being written to bend over backwards to try and make him feel welcomed and be gentle with his feelings, while they all reflect on and apologize for all their various flaws and inadequacies. Will he do the same and ever admit how shitty he is, how much he liked making others be the butt of jokes, but couldn't stand being it himself? Or will we just get a "thanks for loving me guys" kind of sentiment, even if it's couched with a death/abstraction sacrifice chicken out?

Harder to cook, harder to prepare, but it makes up for it in quantity, there is a whole box of bodyparts for you to cook, cut and experiment with. It's down here because for some reason I believe every part would taste different.

Tastes like rabit and probably is built like one, in the sense that he is way too scrawny to get some real enjoyement out of, one silver linging tho, his skin is easy to peel off so you don't have to spend hours trying to skin the damn thing.

Too small and scrawny, her hat and jester outfit is probably something you'll have to ditch so that just leaves her little body. You could probably pull off some insane gourmet things with her tender flesh tho, but you'll spend more time than what is worth it.

Eyeballs might be tasty and the gums of his teeth could be the 8th wonder of the world if you eat them like bbq ribs, but nothing assures us he isn't just the flying jaws with eyed and the rest of his body is just air with clothes.

How is Jax "obviously" a main character?

In ep 1 he is equally presented with others as a group
In ep 2 he is gone for 1/3 of the episode with Ragatha, Gangle and Kinger while Pomni has actual focus with Gummigoo
In ep 3 he is gone for majority of the ep and without speaking role. Kinger is explored by Pomni.
In ep 4 he is a side character with Ragatha and Zooble while Gangle is focused and Pomni continues with Gummigoo.
Ep 5 is again equally focused on the group.
Ep 6 is actual first exploration of Jax
Ep 7 Jax has some side exploration of guilt but its mostly a group episode about escaping
ep 8 is Kinger and Caine focused

Based on 8 episodes, Pomni would be the main character as she gain the role of the viewer self insert. Hwoever the main story related character would be Kinger. Jax is as relevant so far as Zooble and Gangle. Just has some Ribbit subplot drama instead of body dysmorphia. Kinger has both Queenie subplot and creation of the Circus subplot AND Scratch subplot.
