I remember when Wells was on the book people were saying Lowe was guiding it, and maybe that's what is going on here. That's Peter now, and it's what they don't get about why Paul was so unpopular. But the ending is really cool here., but it’s a very interesting turn for MJ’s character, and something that I’m so excited to see get played up on. Ewing is writing the fall-out “talk” issue with Peter and MJ, so I’m very excited to see how that conversation is going to go.

VenoMJ finally gets some more focus, and she gets a great confrontation with Torment here, that scene was great. I am excited for the future of VenoMJ, since it seems like she’s not going anywhere for a while. Peter and MJ fans get Venom while ASM gets nothing

This reminds me of something someone said about the stupid ending of the Rise of Skywalker. That they have the characters act like they're all happy and okay with things because otherwise you'd have to acknowledge that, yeah, they all got kind of a raw deal. Rey and Finn, the two main faces of the sequel trilogy, end with pretty much nothing they actually wanted accomplished or in hand. Rey apparently had a super special force soul mate, and then he dies and she goes off to bury some lightsabers in a desert. Finn spends the entire movie chasing after Rey, having anything he previously had shown interest in wiped from his character, and then they don't get together at all either.

Aaron and Bendis were my only issues, and even then Bendis actually restrained himself. Aaron was Jane and Wonder Woman, so there was no hope. Slott's was fun, Phillips took a GIANT SHIT on Spider-Gwen, Kelly's was wholesome, Slott and Johns were fun, and Loeb's was short and sweet. Meltzer was the best one, though. Every page was gorgeous and great, especially the ending.

If true, I'd guess it might be setting up conflict during Queen in Black, where we know they're all going to be involved. Manufactured MJ drama between Peter and Flash would make enough sense as a side plot.
