You know, I don't know why I'm still watching this.It's kind of retarded that we jumped the shark from low-level vampire hunting to "we need to use the Inquisition to invade the Umbra to stop a werewolf before she causes a mage to Awaken" in a single episode. The pacing is all wrong. It took several episodes and several years for TTS to go from "the Emperor wakes up and dissolves the Inquisition because it's gay and retarded" to "Fyodor becomes the perfect host for the Star Child and can be possessed by it while inside of the Warp outside of Khaine's Gate which shatters on the edge of the Immaterium and thereby causes the entire galaxy to realize the Emperor has returned". The rapid pace of plot development only further contributes to Big D's fraud watch. The Emperor had years and episodes to show that he's genuinely big-brained but also so devoid of empathy he can't recognize when he's about to fail (and his empathic self is so overwhelmingly empathic that it gets defeated by the concept of wanton cruelty, which is why the Emperor slivered it in the first place). Big D looks like a massive schizophrenic because they expect us to believe the same character who was in "A Life Well Lived" is the same one we see complaining about blenders like a manchild.

Yes to both. I think a big part of the problem is that the inherent danger is sexy, the knowledge that being with them comes with pain and torment, which in turn makes things exciting. There are no dull moments with Blair or Matilda, it is just rapid-fire insane bullshit over and over, a complete uproot of the stability I've always known. And yet, paradoxically, I want to establish a loving baseline with them too, to become a relatively stable presence in their turbulent lives that they know they can fall back on if they need to. I am a port that desperately yearns for a storm.

The next episode is Grimal, followed by the Arcanum and co. going to get the werewolf. Either it was forgotten, the ghoul confesses who they are, or they just take everyone along to ensure the ghoul cannot get away. I'm assuming it's the 2nd one given the grimal-kitten audiolog coming up
