>>154053557 yeah but none of them are great. Everybody was in love with Jeannie when they watched this show, but she's sweet and innocent and just a -touch- too young. We all want to date her in like, 3-4 years. When she gets her first period and gets confused as fuck because it's the 60s and nobody teaches girls that shit properly. For now she's just the girl that plays sports with the boys, and when coach calls 'shirts and skins' she has to bashfully be like 'um, coach.. I know I'm only eight, but...'
>>154053645 https://youtu.be/cYQnwp05Ttc?si=FAFtrCetMpmKmSqc&t=218 found the scene at least. Could be good art if she just said fuckit. would prolly end up showering with the boys too.
>>154060755 >>154053707 Normally I love the affectionate tomboy characters but her design is just a bit off for me. I think it's the head to body ratio, her head is too large comparatively. Maybe in a few years when those proportions even out a bit and she's started to develop a little more she'd be perfect waifu status, but right now I'm not drawn to her much.
>>154065266 It's definitely a heavily stylized show, in the vein of Bobby's World, and she's definitely drawn as a little kid. She'll be hot in a few years >>154068310 I forget. Louie was born in '53 so I think this is '61
>>154060825 Louie married his high school sweetheart (though it only lasted a few weeks) He never came out as gay but some homo did try to blackmail the guy for being gay but Louie went to the cops and turned him in so it doesn't seem that big of a deal (or more likely that the blackmailer had no real evidence)
>>154069325 what show? >>154071488 Fuckin smart. I dont understand how anyone falls for the blackmail thing you go tell the police, you get off scott-free because they want people to turn in more blackmailers without getting busted. or even if you do also get in troubs, at least you helped the next guy not get blackmailed. or if it's not something illegal, just embarrassing, then everyone hears 'oh he was blackmailed, poor guy.' and ignores the embarrassing thing. If any of these weren't basically true of humans, there would be no point living.
>>154071799 The blackmailer in the louie case said Louie propositioned him in Las Vegas (but nothing sexual actually happened) so then later he tried to get a few bucks off Louie so he gave him few 100 then he came back and wanted 100k so Louie went to the cops Like nothing bad even happened EVEN if Louie was making a pass at him !
>>154071799 Nah, Louie owned up to it. https://www.tampabay.com/things-to-do/stage/Louie-Anderson-talks-Emmy-Baskets-and-his-brush-with-MeToo_171724227/ >Last year, veteran comic Tom Rhodes released an album featuring a bit called "Meeting Louie Anderson." He describes being a 19-year-old in the '80s, and winning a contest to fly from Florida to the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, where he met Anderson. On the album, Rhodes said Anderson took him out and began making unwanted advances, attempting to kiss him and "squeezing my ass cheeks." On his podcast, Rhodes later said the experience made him feel "ashamed and disgusted," and that it took years for him to be able to open up about it.
>Asked about the incident, Anderson at first demurred, but a few minutes later had a change of heart.
>"I really regret that Tom felt put upon and felt uncomfortable," Anderson said. "I had no idea. I was a big flirt back then, and so that's a possibility that that happened, and I regret that. I regret that he would be put in that position. And I'm truly sorry for it."
>Rhodes has since retired the bit from his act, and said his feelings on the incident have evolved as more stories from the #MeToo movement have come to light. He has not spoken to Anderson, who he has always liked and still calls a "comedy legend." But he believes "someone's sexual proclivities should never be an issue when it comes to discussing the merits of someone's chosen work," and that Anderson should not be lumped in with other accused harassers and abusers. He asked that his story not circulate further.
>"Whatever I went through in that story, based on my knowledge of the man, I would not categorize him as a sexual deviant monster, which some people are being revealed to be right now," Rhodes said. "I have great sympathy for the guy."
>>154085671 it was a fun little sitcom for kids with some fine comedy. the dad was the most hilarious character, but the mom had her moments she sees how much a cat costs and she quickly whips up an old wives tale "cats lick the butter! then you go to eat the butter and BLEH!" and Louie loses interest in the kitten "what are ya tryin to poison me?"
>>154052119 I've always had a softspot for tomboys since I was a kid. But even I knew that was actually a boy when it was airing. it's kind of why I never got into it. I understood louie anderson was as gay as a french picnic even as a child and knew what I was seeing and just didn't like the show much overall. As you grow up you grow out of pretending to not see or understand things that you understood as a child. This was one of those things.
Remember the deer episode? Well, there's no good reason for her to go all Pyrenee the Mountain Girl on the titular buck, but here we are. https://files.catbox.moe/ano2mj.jpg
>>154076122 It might be because made the sketches really tiny, so the lines are all fuzzy, but thank you all the same haha
>>154095716 but they don't change from 'boyish to less boyish' over time women's voices never get HIGHER. they usually get slightly lower, or MORE than slightly (especially if you smoke) and sometimes stay roughly the same if you are tiny small. so if they already had a boy voicing her as a kid, it'd be weird to switch to a woman later
>>154102109 I go by neongecko06 on most platforms, but I haven't uploaded much in recent years. Was kinda planning on changing that this summer, take care of a backlog in one burst. We'll see.
