Real shame that Molly's humans are extra shitty. She's wasted on those shits no one likes especially that shitty boy.

Real shame that this is how Emmy threads have to "survive" with fan nonsense. The last thread also needed to be about general robots to get any traction. However dedicated Emmy threads simply die. Real shame because the nandroids are nice characters.
Anyone else think the only way Emmy can gain some substance is with a studio gaining the license to make an Emmy series or movie? However keep Glitch away from Emmy we don't need them to transform Emmy into Murder Drones.

Yeah, it's just tough to discuss much since the comic doesn't update that frequently.
I've seen anons on past threads saying it wouldn't work as a show, but I disagree.
I think it could work great. Don't know about glitch, doesn't seem to be their kind of thing, at least based on what they've made so far.
Regarding animations, Dom might be cooking something. He shared on insta a little animation in progress of Molly, around 4 days ago.
Don't know what it's about or it's length, but it was pretty nice to see Emmy animated.

>Yeah, it's just tough to discuss much since the comic doesn't update that frequently.
And worse when it does update it does so in a direction that most agree is not interesting. The whole Sterling Robots is an evil company that abuses robots and fuels robot oppression is too generic an angle. And no one seriously likes the Non Nandroid characters.

>>154058855
A good idea for a series about Emmy could be showing how the Nandroids are idealized femininity and how they make human cunts seethe. For crying out loud Emmy nurtures Madeline while her blood mother doesn't do much with her own daughter.

Murder Drones is good though, you're just a salty faggot.
Not like it would even be "another" Murder Drones. Glitch works by bringing on the creator of the series as a showrunner, and producing their show for them. Murder Drones by Liam Vickers, The Amazing Digital Circus by Gooseworx, etc. So every series depends on the creator-showrunner.
Why are you butthurt over the success of others?

I think the story is nice. The evil greedy corporation angle is not exactly new, but that's alright, maybe he has something up his sleeve.
I'm usually more interested in the nandroids too, but I also think the other characters are fine.
I'm curious to see how Emmy will handle the conflict between returning to Madeline and staying with Darcy, for example.

>acting like people are invading your threads with MD mrely because MD robot girls, popular on the cartoon side of the internet, get posted frequently in Robot Girls threads
It's literally not their fault that Emmy threads die out and robot girl threads get a lot of MD robots in them, stop being such a fag dude
>>
>>154058950
That'd be impossible, people would eat Dom's liver, lmao
But I do agree that this thing that happens in-comic of delegating the parental responsibilities to the nandroids sucks.
It could be interesting to develop and show more of it. I imagine many kids would see the nandroid as more of a mother than their actual mom.

Anyone find it amusing that the manikin that Emmy is dancing with is skinny but in her imagination the man she envisions is somewhat on the fat side? Don't Nandroids have human female preferences? For one thing they literally gossip like real twats in canon.

Did this board ever complete the drawing of the adult dude who was raised by a nandroid who goes to where he works and humiliates him by talking about him as if he were still a boy with the punchline being the man telling the other men "You were all raised by nandroids!" implying he would spread embarrassing truths about their childhoods if they give him any lip.

There's two strewn about. One's a (dot)wiki and one's for the Mr./Ms. /co/ tournament since Emmy's been nominated and competed before. I don't remember her track record since I'm not too big on the waifu tourneys.

The problem is that the entire premise was flawed. Emmy clearly works better as a romantic companion robot versus as a maid/nanny. I mean, you could incorporate that role as well in addition to her "other' uses as companion robot, but there's just not a lot you could reasonably do with a nanny robot.
I mean, half the edits I see of this comic are r34 edits. Just embrace it already.
>>154058950
This.
>>154059216
>That'd be impossible, people would eat Dom's liver, lmao
Fuck it. The story would be far more culturally relevant and would actually gain traction as a more consequential piece of media than whatever it is now.
>>
>>
>>154092423
Unfortunately there isn't much else to talk about, yeah. The story is not updated frequently, it doesn't open that much space for theories and discussions, there isn't that much fanart these days, so the threads are mostly just posting whatever art people got, or it becomes a discussion about robots in general.

Yes, but then you have recreated Futurama, but with a nannybot versus Bender. Its good for a fun comic, but nothing seriously compelling that will have a lasting cultural legacy. I'll give you an example of what I'm thinking.
What if Emmy instead of being a nannybot, she is purchased as a romantic companion gynoid by a guy looking to escape loneliness (pic related). As the man's life goes on, you develop the connection between him and her. Eventually, after a decade and half of waging, he has a child via a future technology like ectogenesis or via surrogate. Emmy then functions not as a nanny, but as an actual mother to this child and observes him as he grows up and feeds that back into her programming. You could incorporate something like the man having to work harder to pay for a subscription to make sure his "wife" and his son's "mother" memories/personality are not deleted, or the broader cultural impact of that this kind of relationship and its proliferation has on society and humanity as a whole.
The above plot is relatively unique, very culturally relevant right now (AI companions are the beginnings of this), and thought provoking. It could tackle themes of human loneliness and alienation, corporate versus user control of software and robotics, what defines a soul, how children raised in such an environment would be different from ones raised naturally, etc. It doesn't even have to be dystopian, and it would likely be more subversive if it wasn't if I'm being honest.
You could easily extract over a decade of weekly content out of this premise. It has the makings of a serious piece of fiction and not just a comic who's core message is a generic "corporations are bad" that has been done a million times already. And it has the perfect product to sell the idea since Emmy is legitimately cute and the community is actively making r34 style fanfic of her and other nandroids right now. Its just sad to see good potential squandered due to squeamishness.

If North Korea is suffering from this problem, then the problem is not "capitalism". It is also worth noting that the story of Pygmalion was written in ancient Greece, which is what that anon was essentially summarizing.

No, I actually mean North Korea. South Korea is a well known problem, but not enough attention is placed on North Korea's similar problem. Kim has been seen repeatedly begging women to have kids in public speeches.

This guy is western aligned, but its the only deep dive on the issue. It should be noted that something similar happened in the USSR.

Begging is never going to work especially since women biologically see that as a man being weak and that turns them off. Women only reproduce when they are forced. With all the freedom and rights that women have especially abortion in modern era? Women will instinctly choose negative birthrates.
The biggest lesson the global modern era will be teaching mankind is that Women Should Not Have Rights. And that any subhuman male who argues for the benefit of female rights must be killed as a traitor. And that this new status quo must be maintained until we can safely reproduce without shitty women.
>>
>>154100923
Because if a boyfriend is enforced the woman will get a man she doesn't find attractive most likely. And forced sperm donors? Women don't want this, the want the MONEY they can leech off a man long term. And given all the horror stories sperm donors go through many young men have started to actively DODGE surrendering their genetic material to such a corrupt industry.
Women are shitty animals who deserve to die as hated shitty spinsters.

>Hey guys, I like this webcomic so I made a fan character. She likes to sing and is pretty cute and sneaks out to a club in secret.
>Hey guys. Here's my highly curtailed evidence for why woman should have no rights or opinions or anything really. Then after that we need to reduce them to breeders and kill anyone who resists. The human race will go extinct unless these exact steps are taken.
Why did the fan creators leave? We have such fantastical discussions on the human condition.

>Because if a boyfriend is enforced the woman will get a man she doesn't find attractive most likely.
That's not how it was proposed with "state mandated girlfriends" it would be if you want a girlfriend then you should be allowed one because otherwise you'll shoot a school or something.
>And forced sperm donors? Women don't want this, the want the MONEY they can leech off a man long term.
I thought robots would fix that therefore the FEMALES would need to enforce forced sperm donors.
>And given all the horror stories sperm donors go through many young men have started to actively DODGE surrendering their genetic material to such a corrupt industry.
It would not be voluntary.
>Women are shitty animals who deserve to die as hated shitty spinsters.
Who wants to end no fault divorce again? Ah yes, the victims of such a cruel system how odd the ones who are the most victimized according you are the ones more obsessed with keeping women around. Maybe you should do a sex/relationship strike so women don't get your companionship nor your penis until they learn how to behave.

I don't think women should be forced, as it produces unnecessary resentment and bad outcomes for everyone. Just walk away and build a new world without them.
