Clear primer was the original. Since we imported the turd world, and we can’t trust them, we had to add the purple tint.

I like primer. It smells good. Also seems to make the glue work even better. And the way the combo of glue/primer works to soften and lube the pvc so your glue joints slide together and bottom out in the joint easily is a godsend.
