>>2988097 >absolutely slathered in makeup >wearing a microphone >clean >holding a dog This is not a farmgirl, it's a poser larping as one for social media likes and video views.
>>2988235 You know they make hay balers now right? My wife is pretty damn strong, but there is no need to do unnecessary work around the farm. There is plenty of actual things that need done constantly without making more work for yourself.
>>2988341 Charolais/angus cross. They've been diluted with black angus bulls for the past 35ish years and are still crapping out white calves about half the time. They make good mamma cows... We keep them and the occasional red one just to have a bit of color in the herd other than black.
>>2988353 I see, we buy stirks, whatever that is in your place, I like to get a good colour mix if I can because it's easier to count them in the fields, makes it a little easier to figure out if you've lost one.
>>2988097 Well, I own a house with a decent garden, and my fiancee and her twin sister (single, lives with us) have been making a small vegetable garden.
to aquire a proper farmwife you must provide/offer a proper farmlife. own/buy a farm/homestead acreage or at least have a viable path and plan to provide/purchase one. a PROPER farmwife does not work outside the home in the rat race. weekends at a farmer's market or home-based sales of produce/livestock/crafts are an acceptable income stream, but should not be expected/required. her "job" is to keep the home, livestock, gardens, prepare meals, tend to medical, and maintain the laundry. animal processing and butchering should be understood and practiced as well, but does not have to be 100% her duty. ie; you will help with large livestock & quarry.
do not allow her to day-drink. occasional alcohol intake is acceptable, but should be minimal and occur at appropriate times & volume. i suppose Marijuana use is probably ok, but not something i have to consider in our situation. all other drugs are, of course, a definite NO. pain pills (opiates, etc) should be rare, short term, and monitored. basically: idle hands are the devil's playthings, and she will have a lot of time to herself, bad habits cascade quickly.
you will need to provide her with the appropriate literature (hard copies of refrence materials are required) and of course she is expected to watch nessesary videos on said topics, to learn and grow her skillset.
to help her accomplish her duties, you must provide the income. budgeting is done together and frugality is key. if she requests something to increase her productivity, you supply it, period. put her needs before your wants. you are her provider and protector, act like it.
not all farmwives come ready-made. you can find and teach a "city girl" or suburbanite, so long as she is not afraid of hard work and understands that dirt washes off. its a hard life of austerity, so you need love & respect her and she should be your friend as well as wife, lover & mother.
my farmwife was raised small town. i was raised medium city suburban. we bought & built.
