how about explosives to improve "Perk" for Septic System install?

Been watching this guy's videos about problems with land for sale and lack of good Perk for Septic due to layer of rocks, clay, etc seems to come up often.

How about drilling down a 100ft maybe 100ft square and dropping some TNT to "frack" the rock or clay so it will open some passages to ground water? :)

Septics are supposed to distribute water into the soil for processing. They are not supposed to drain down through the bedrock into your aquifers for drinking. Build a lagoon if your soil can't handle it

they say you need a 4ft fence around to keep animals out.

I don't think that would do jack shit against deer, rodents, and of course birds, and even many dogs.

Is it some big problem if animals start to "access" the water?

Lol, no. The fence is so some kid doesn't go drown. The animals don't matter at all. The fence doesn't matter either unless you want it or want to follow your regulations (assuming it applies to you).

Most people don't put a fence up. We had a dog that would swim in the lagoon, and the animals would drink from it

what sort of areas wont let even Lagoon Septic be installed? (besides snooty rich ones, for strictly political NIMBY reasons).

Most perc test failures I've encountered are from water draining through the ground too fast, not too slowly. Essentially not allowing the waste water enough time to be properly filtered by the ground before it makes its way back to the water table. Breaking the ground up with explosives would probably make that problem worse.

Most lakefront properties and anywhere it would overflow into public water above or below ground. Really they care more about the construction of the lagoon than the location

yep this is the real reason
and then theres my friend that had to put in a sand filter due to flunking and when he was in the county office scheduling an inspection the good ole boy govt dude in charge told him he shoulda just had a couple load of shit clay hauled in and smeared out and then retested instead of immediately capitulating with a filter system
