Pick an artist of your choice and look it with Euler A and with DPM++ SDE, you will see how the second one is more "faithful" to the artists in general. Now, I use Euler A most part of the time, because is not that it washes styles entirely if you don't go crazy with negatives, but still euler A washes styles more than other samplers

NTA, but I don't think you should ever take decisions on character development based on labels because that probably would simply hinder your creativity. It should be the other way around; you develop the character, and then you can see which label fits better.
You don't say "is a kemonomimi" or "it's a monstergirl," then try to adhere to that with all your might, no? What you do is develop her in the way you want, and then when that is over, you can tell if she falls more in one category or the other.
