In general, if they look at you lot and are willing to have in depth conversations/regularly interact with you when not really necessary, they find you attractive on some level. Though whether that's enough to take it anywhere will depend on other aspects aside from your appearance.

I missed a lot of opportunities because I didn't get this. I only went for women who'd give me straight up compliments on my looks, but often they were already dating a guy and just admired my features, and the ones who'd try and talk to me I thought were just friendly.
