I really need to see the watch before I try and get one. I have a Swatch store about 30 mins away from me, and I've never had a problem getting one each of the Blancpain and Omega collabs. If it ends up being a pocket watch that converts to a wrist watch, that's cool. But if the mount is chunky or looks ugly I won't bother. And it would need to have a variation with a nice looking dial and a strap that isn't too loud.
>>18697654 If you didn't give a shit about plastic Swatches before this collab, then I got bad news for you: you are a wannabe-rich herd animal who got brain raped by viral marketing. Omega Swatches are rotting all over used marketplaces for 1/4 of their RRP if you want to see what will happen to these funko turds.
>>18702177 It might as well not count if it's a plastic necklace. If you really care about the style and the name and you aren't filthy rich, there are ways. But it's just silly if the rest of your life doesn't match you wearing a $30,000 watch. The kind of people who know what AP is and would be impressed by it would also know the Swatch version isn't impressive. What's the point? If you like the whole bolts/octagon thing so much get an homage or a knockoff. Isn't a real watch better than a plastic neck trinket?
>>18697654 Looks like something you'd find in a kid's meal from the 80's or 90's. Honestly kind of torn, on the one hand it looks like shit and is such a shameless cash in. Nobody who buys or wears a fake 400$ AP Swatch that looks like a kid's toy can be taken seriously. But on the other hand they're fleecing jeets so hard with this, it's hilarious. Paying a huge upcharge because AP agreed to have their logo printed on plastic. Kek.
>Bro it's totally worth that because it's just a plastic Swatch with AP printed on it but hold on hold on >It's an OFFICIALLY AP printed logo Swatch bro OFFICIAL fake AP bro
>>18697817 HAHA, they tried to block other factories from making that style of watch. How fucking pathetic. Glad they lost. How fucking dare they try and gatekeep?
>>18705286 >you know you can buy a fake Omega x Swatch off Alibaba for $20. It's even made of cheap plastic, like the authentic Omega x Swatch. Even the real ones are pretty shit. I got two back when they were the new hot shit and the batteries don't last long, the straps crumpled like shit (cardboard inside lmao) and they tick loud as shit. I paid retail for them and not the rip off online prices, but I actually still feel ripped off.
>>18705286 I actually am a big fan of Swatch but I really hate this colab shit. What's the difference between this and any watch modeled after an AP? This one is more "authentic" because they have official licensing rights to use the name. I think it's lame. It's good advertising for Swatch though, I think they make great products.
>>18697654 Watchfags are by the nerdiest and dorkiest among /fa/ggots. Do they not realize that nobody gives a fuck about their male bracelets besides other watchfags? That's not only gay af but also incestuous. The average normie or a woman couldn't care less about whether you're wearing a $40K luxury watch or a $40 Timex watch.
>>18705334 Some of us do know that. And we just buy what we like and can afford and we don't concern ourselves with what non-watchfags and women may think. Watches are only for the wearer.
>>18697663 I could’ve bought a moon swatch but thought it was ugly and didn’t know the hype. Just saw a bunch of people buying g them at the airport. What did k miss?
