What are some objectively good trends to emulate? There's just way too much shit these days and I don't know what to filter. Which ones do /fa/ unironically follow?

everything starts from a trend of some sort

Tees that hit 1cm under your beltline (which people call boxy or cropped or whatever) will always look better than long tshirts. Do get on that trend if you don't tuck your tshirts.

Loafers are a trend that you can still use down the line, just don't buy 5 pairs and don't buy anything that's not the super classic styles that always stick around. Chunkier is safer in our still-sneaker-dominated-world.

But is a boxy/cropped t-shirt better than a long t-shirt that you wear tucked?

Just find your own aesthetic.

For warm weather it is, because you get airflow. If you don't experience this kind of weather, tucking is visually similar and more versatile (I tuck all winter for the cosiness).

i saw a guy dressed like this at the grocery store but the shirt was cropped about an inch and a half higher. he looked like a skinny twink version of colin kaepernick. group of teenage girls busted out laughing at him and took their phones out. these tik tok trends don't work in the real world.

this is good. this isn't what i'm talking about.

either or, as long as the fit is good. just be aware of sleeve size/length/proportions when tucking your shirts. sometimes you'll need to cuff or shorten and take them in a bit to get them to look proportional. super simple alterations you can learn from youtube.
