there was a study I read once on bmi and face attractiveness where they asked college students to judge how attractive faces were. if I remember right both boys and girls rated girls in the 19-20 bmi range the most attractive and girls rated the guys around the 23bmi range the most attractive. i personally think both guys and girls look best in the 16-19 bmi range though.
