People respect MorePlatesMoreDates-Dereck for good reasons, but I can't agree with his conclusions that supplements such as Beta-Alanine (& among others) are nothing more than a useless placebo and caffeine would do just fine. For, drinking coffee for so many years, even taking a two week detox from caffeine the effects my body has to it is so strong it is almost irreversible. The effects BA does completely motivates me to lift heavier (I do say it was the thing that helped me bench 135 for the first time). Everything else I don't disagree with, but "placebo's" have been proven to work AS a form of motivation itself, and just a littlebit of that matters alot.

I finally switched from caffeine pilis to a pre-workout because I found one that is 60 servings for <$20. Honestly, I might feel a little more focused during workouts but could be placebo. It's not much more expensive than a caffeine pill and it tastes pretty good so I might keep using it
>>77316314 My pre-workout consists of caffeine (200mg), beta alanine, nitrous oxide, yohimbine hcl, vitamin c (1000mg), EAAs, carbohydrate supplements and cialis (10mg). Each work in harmony to give me an excellent pump, motivation and energy.
>>77316314 When I take beta alanine I never get the pins and needles people talk about, except when picking up heavy DBs to do shrugs. Then I feel it down my arms for about 10 seconds.
>>77316536 No nigga, if there are any fitness voices worth even listening to. Men like Derek and Greg Douch despite their sophisticated explanations on fitness, are addicted roids. Or is it completely over?
r u on gear? post body. if u are natty, i'm interested in seeing the results of 1g vitamin c. i've trained with a lot of current pros and saw a handful of ifbb pro open builders take 1g vitamin c preworkout.
