The current setup.
I rarely used the laptop as a second monitor, but having the speakers in an asymmetrical layout was a constant annoyance, so I gave up on the idea.
The laptop can just sit propped up, I'll get a vertical stand at some point. There's also a desktop PC under the bed.

I dont like how dirty OLEDs get and how afraid you have to be when cleaning
But using LCD ever no thanks
>>
>>108610822
Just get proper cleaning wipes. I get by with just dry screen wipes every few months.
Unless you actively touch them, sneeze/cough or spit while talking towards them, a glossy OLED literally only ever needs to be dusted once a week or so with a dusting brush.

Yep, moved the desk to the corner to maximize space and have better lighting (but ironically it's worse for my phone's camera, I had to post-process the CRAP out of the vibrance and white-level to make that pic look more true-to-life).

Better than the new one tbdesu.

Need ID on the anime. The character design reminded me of Hyper Dolls, but the girl has other colors. Also thought of Gude Crest, but Efe dresses differently.

Hi, I like the angle. Do you have Kaiser Natron at home by any chance?

Is it really in the corner? How much space is there to the right? I feel like a larger desk would improve your bst. Or an extra drawer on table level for your CRT and retro stuff.
>>
>>108612500
I can't jut out much more to the right since that's a sliding glass door. It's not a big deal with how much there is now since the door is decently wide, but I don't want to push it too much further. I'd prefer to get an L-shaped desk/extension or a separate small desk/table/etc for CRT console gaming to have behind the left of me since I've got a lot of space there.

I get what you mean, but the new setup takes less space, which is why I was able to move the stationary bike in the corner.
The new desk lets in light under it, and the bed is also lifted off the ground which is also better for a small room, and in person it feels more spacious.

I got rid of the vertical monitor and there is now a topping e70 velvet dac on the table as well.
>>
>>108612884
At least you know your priorities. I find storage space for stuff I need at the desk more important than for a stationary bike. Do you really use that in the position it stands, or do you swap it with the chair?
Adding some colors other then gray and beige to this would make the room more inhabitable as well.

Yes the stationary bike has wheels you can roll it in front of the desk. The storage is now under the TV.
There is colour in the room, there's nothing grey actually, it's just the automatic white balance on the camera that distorts the tones.
I tried to use wood tones and black metal for contrast, but some of the items are white or partially white, at least I tried to have multiples of each style so they don't look out of place.

Hello frens. Haven't posted in a while. My setup is pretty shitty at the moment. I need to troubleshoot my PC and my cable raceway fell. I'm not even sure that it's worth fixing my PC instead of getting a new build. On the bright side I'm employed again.
>>
>>108610001
i think mine did the same, the power supply was full of bad capacitors, i fixed it by replacing all of them with panasonic ones. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague

somehow i believe you.
good setup overall though. i'd probably remove the two screens on the right to make it look cleaner and more intentional but then it would also look less comfy i guess. maybe a fourth monitor on top of the LG monitor for the cockpit look

Guys! I brought my laptop to school because /g/ said these stickers would make people think I'm cool, but all they did was laugh and say I was autistic. Is something wrong?
>>
>>
>>
>>108614050
Does it actually matter though? If I flip them around I'll have to look at the foam on the bottom.
These are near-field monitors anyway, not TV speakers, they're already wrong for the application, but I already had them and they still sound better than a soundbar.
Ideally I'd have the space to put them on stands, but that's not going to work.

Has no effect unless you're looking at the screens off axis or they are dirty/dusty.
If anything it makes the shitty IPS blacks less noticeable.

Thanks.
>i'd probably remove the two screens on the right to make it look cleaner and more intentional but then it would also look less comfy i guess.
They were a latter addon, but yeah they are mostly for comfy, it looked real empty without, the left screen barely gets any use outside of a glorified waifu picture frame.
>maybe a fourth monitor on top of the LG monitor for the cockpit look
Kek, I'd miss out on the ambient lighting though.
I need to find space for my CM8833-II, mounting it over the LG would be uncomfortable to use even though with ceiling mounting it would look retarded yet cool.
The Trinitron is mostly for show in the /bst/ pics and lives in another corner in the room I roll it into frame from.

You don't have to do that.
You set up your phone where your head is going to be and open a sound pressure meter.
Then you turn the volume knob on the audio interface to the maximum, and the volume knobs on the speakers to the minimum.
Play back some pink noise and slowly raise the volume on each of speakers individually while the other is off until you reach your desired sound pressure.
That way the volume between the two is balanced and even at full volume they are not dangerously loud, but you still get the benefits of a larger speaker.
Realistically I could have gone with smaller ones and a subwoofer, but it would have cost more.

One of my biggest regrets is not having taken some pics of my setup over the years. Back then I though it was silly to do it, but now I realize how many memories a single photo can spark.
The other day I've found an old picture of a blackboard when I was in school and I was overwhelmed by the memories. I can only phantom what a collage like this would do. :(
