i wouldnt pay more than 100 bucks for a tv box desu.
even tho my xiaomi tv is pretty slow, its enough for my needs. i mostly use airplay/in-app casting so it doesnt bother me too much anyways.

only thing that actually bothers me from the apple tv is it not having stremio/nuvio. apple took them down for some reason.
