They are $70 though in real currency. Also yes, they are definitely worth the price. Plenty of third party random publications and channels have done testing of the driver against other options.
I also say this as someone who owns the original Snap-On ratcheting driver set that Linus based this on because it's what he used to use back in the day.
If you're just some person who doesn't use a screwdriver all the time for shit though it's absolutely not worth it.

there is a huge problem in the US with scalping. Its absolutely insane how bad it has gotten an I don't know why or even how to fix it. Every aspect of life some nigger is buying up a shit load of X to just mark up at insane value.

>>
>>108649071
desu I think those eye-scanning orbs and a taser to the balls/vagina would be a good idea. even with that how are you going to solve ebay if I am just re-selling something? I don't blame people for wanting to get their money back and maybe a extra for time/effort but all of this is outrageous.
>>
>>108649012
>how to fix it
You either make it clear that there is an infinite quantity of these goods available at the manufacturer-suggested retail price, or you have the primary retailer sell the goods at the price people are willing to buy from scalpers.
The latter is a bit controversial, because sometimes "brands" decide they can make more money by sacrificing some profit to build hype. e.g. bands don't want to sell concert tickets at maximum price, because then only boomers willing to drop $500 on a concert will go, but old people don't like to accumulate junk, they just want a night out once or twice a year. Bands would rather sell $100 tickets to swiftie-style young fans that will go on to spend $1,000 on merch/microtransactions/influencer shit, because for the kids it's a "lifestyle."

>>
>>108651123
It is worth it lmao. I assure you, I have more tools than you ever will worth more than you'll ever make in a year and use them more than you'll ever have to. It's a great indoor screwdriver for a bunch of different tasks. Honestly, it's better for things that aren't PC building 90% of the time because the shaft is too thick though. I think the best thing I've used it on was building the PAX wardrobe from IKEA, it's great for shit like that with the built in ratcheting when you don't want to mess and deal with the torque of an electric screwdriver/drill/etc.
If you just wanted to support the channel buy the other shit they make more money on. Shirts are like pure profit, same reason bands use them for merch.

I have a dollar tree ratcheting screw driver. ($25)
I use it occasionally to adjust my $6000 jointer, $4000 cnc machine, $1200 turning lathe, and $2600 bandsaw in my production shop. I also use it for adjusting door hinges and shit. S○ys would be better off spending their $1000 on some free weights and protein powder.

I wouldn't know, I don't judge value based on how many of something else I can buy.
>>108652284
Eh, feel is definitely important, I wouldn't say it's the top reason for liking the driver though. When you're using a tool all day long feel is always considered though. Otherwise no one would care about their mouse and keyboard setup.
>>108652628
I'm 36 as previously stated. Also the PAX wardrobe isn't just "some IKEA furniture" It's a very decent wardrobe that pretty much isn't matched by anything other than going to a custom builder. I know that most retards here don't own homes, let alone have the skills and abilities to build them to their liking.
>>108655206
They've touched screws. The problem is that my dad buys like everything he is interested in and in the case of this screwdriver he just never used it over his normal set of drivers that much before handing it off to me. Also, I already had the all black ltt driver and it's much nicer than the snap-on set so I continue to not use it(except maybe the mini). I can easily start showing off dirty greasy tools if that's all you care about though. Since, you know, most of our tools are for working on diesel trucks.

they where like 70/60 when i bought one. I like that the screw bits are enclosed so I dont drop them everywhere. I highly recommend ignoring their bit kits and going straight to fagmanzon to get your tiny set. I would have liked to get a noctua with all beige but they refused to make them disassemble so I just decided to stick with the one.

You and me both man. The shit in >>108659723 and >>108660023 look like the most uncomfortable horrible stupid shit I've ever seen in my life. It's like when you're stuck helping your mom or sister out real quick while at their house and you say "I need a phillips" and they hand you some dogshit turd "toolbox" with their "tools" and in the end you only make whatever fixed or working by using a fucking pair of pliers or crescent wrench because their other shit doesn't even fucking work and is missing half the parts.

>>108651164
Ratcheting is something that basically all of these screwdriver sets have. Other than that, all you've said is that the shaft is too thick for PC work.
I have some bottom of the barrel Amazon set that works well for IKEA furniture and PC building (so actually a bit more featureful than your set) and it's probably 1/6 the price. You're just a dumbass who falls for marketing.
>>
>>
>>108660257
IKEA ships with a fucking weird plastic handle and a shitty allen/phillips combo that is trash. It's great for people that have literally nothing, otherwise it's just waste going to the landfill and should be removed from packaging.
>>
>>108660764
I don't bring my garage of tools to peoples houses randomly anon, especially when I'm there for non tool needed reasons as stated.
>>108660829
Honestly it's ratcheting and other things are better than I've used from other brands, including snap-on. Regardless, I didn't fall for marketing because I casually bought it like a few months ago when they rereleased the all black version and I'm not poor so "falling for marketing" in general just isn't a thing for me. That's only an issue for poor people who have problems with money, not people who are settled in life with lots of money. Congrats on your shitty ~$12 amazon screwdriver man, lmao. Also the shaft imo is too big for PC work specifically because it doesn't fit through PCI holes on cases I've used it on so far when putting in GPU's and expansion cards. It's fine for everything else, but I honestly just use the smaller driver with the fidget spinner backend for pretty much everything PC related. I use the regular screwdriver around the house for things replacing having to grab my snap-on set of drivers every time I do a job I can just grab one with the bits in the back and ratcheting, it's just better.

Nothing is EVER just hard work and assloads of "luck". There's always a ton of circumstances and people in the right place that lead to beneficial situations. You can call it luck all the same to be born into it but it doesn't jive with usually hearing you just gotta take the best risks and get lucky while grinding workworkwork around the clock. Meanwhile another person in the same seat calls up his lawyer aunty and solves something that would normally fuck you over significantly in cost or mistakes.

I sold tools to guys working in construction every (week)day for 7 years. They ABSOLUTELY care about the way a tool feels. Sure they have a flathead they use a chisel, or a Chinese torque wrench they'll use a hammer if they're feeling lazy, but they buy and use nicer tools and will tell me, a salesman, all about the tool they are buying because they love them.

>Wasn’t this one tested at project farm and faired surprisingly well?
Yes, it was and a bunch of other outlets. Which is why I think it's hilarious when retards and most likely children who never even use tools are critical of it. My personal anecdote is that I let my Dad and his Best Friend who have been using tools and building something new every weekend for 50+ years use it for a side project they helped me with and they both liked it a lot. Not that it really matters, I'm the one that's gonna be using it and it's been great for my uses.
>But still, it’s influencer merch, so I’d rather not.
This is the part I have to disagree with. 1. I wouldn't call LTT/LMG influencers, I'd call them Youtubers. I honestly think "influencers" are pure garbage trash and are only relegated to streaming/short form content. Although, you could probably get away with calling them "content creators" but honestly I consider both to be heavy Gen Z retarded shit and terms. 2. They specifically hire people directly tied to the fields of the "merch" they are creating and have made an individual company for it so it's completely different than pretty much like 99% of other creators. You have actual engineers and shit developing these products specifically to the short lil dipshits specs and he uses them 24/7 until release and annoys them with what he wants changed and stuff.
I've only bought the precision kit (after my like 15+ year old microcenter exit aisle $20 kit finally died) and the screwdriver but I'm pretty interested in what comes of the power bank they have been revealed. I don't think it's gonna be any better than the massive anker or ugreen banks you can already get but the fact it's supposed to be upgradeable and replaceable is definitely neat. Most of their stuff doesn't interest me but it does seem decent quality. I would have been interested in the shop jacket back when I was in the warehouse 24/7 but now that I sit at home remote shit like that is dumb
