Unironically I like Liquid Glass. What do you have against it? The window kerning if there’s a word for that is a bit off but otherwise it looks bretty good with the right wallpaper (especially on my phone). For the desktop though it’s functionally identical to Sequoia.

Apple displays are really good on the MacBooks there's not much to be had apart from better blacks at the risk of burn in. If only monitor manufacturers used such quality panels in monitors we wouldn't care about OLED as much.

I thought the hatred was overblown until I used Acorn and got all the toolbar stuff mixed up with the image I was working on underneath and I couldn’t tell what’s what
usually Liquid Glass is not bad and it’s legit cool IMO, but when it sucks it REALLY sucks

>against the Vision Pro
Interesting given his background in VR. Maybe he knew it sucked compared to what's needed for VR to work. Or maybe he realized VR is an endless money pit that only works in movies and bad Netflix shows.

>Will this change their line of products at all?
no. they will continue to get substantially worse and lose more of the computing market to rivals
>>108648133
for example of how bad things are going to get

apple's vision was a failure before it was even put into boxes and shipped to cock sucking youtuber/influencers. they put around 10 minutes of testing into it and decided to ship it as-is and use the customers as beta testers for their broken hardware and software

i-shit is doing fine. their computer business is done for. they have something embarrassing like 8% or less and nobody is rushing to buy their ARMshit like when it was released. the hype is gone, everyone knows that they're trash. they changed cpus and still managed to gain no new market. iphone/ipad and their online stores 100% subsidize their computers part of the business. computers make up something like 30% or less of apple's profits. apple could stop making computers tomorrow - announce that no new macbooks or anything else will ever be released - and people would be like:
>yeah, saw that coming
and
>nobody cares
people really don't appreciate just how dire things are for their computer business.

they’re running out of A18 chips to put in their MacBooks Neo because they’re so popular
And Macs mini are a major PITA to buy because everyone’s buying them to run OpenClaw on
The computer business isn’t what it used to be but you’re still full of shit

Why would Beats acquisition be a miss and Apple Watch a Hit/Miss? Seems like Beats is doing fine and Apple Watch is selling well as well, although the product line is really stale.
>Being called Tim Apple - Hit/Miss
I miss the old goofball Donald. Really one of his greatest hits.

we know nothing about John Apple, his wiki is almost empty too. he's like anonymous

Possibly a little bit. Tim got really lucky with dongles and attachments which drove up profits when they weren't really innovating much. A hardware guy might make something new or whatever but apple move pretty slow these days anyway so it will be incremental. The pricepoint of the new macbook neo is actually pretty cool for apple tbf.

or maybe he's like Jobs and knows what normies won't like, and normies get the big ick from VR headsets. it's why they tried to cope with the stupid "eyesight" external display, but I think that just intensified the ick

I'd say the watch was a big hit

it's like he just...appeared
all we know about him is he's very good at swimming so he's definitely white but could definitely be a glowie
