The results are less accurate but it doesn't really matter, the AI answers everything for us and it's better than the results would have been.

I hate that Google search is still the most competent one even though it's been enshittified by Sukdeeps for the last ten years+. I tried giving Brave search a try and it can't ever retrieve a first-party result for a topic that Google gets on the first try.

it's going to be really bad when people crack how to optimize their websites for AI recommendation.

It all went downhill ever since Google lobotomized reverse image search because it started getting good enough to find people on social media. I haven't used a search engine to find something I didn't already know exists for nearly a decade at this point, it just can't do what I want it to.
