Is selling AI agents really the “next gold rush” or is it the “learn to code” of the 2020s?
Does my local plumber really need ai workflow automation? I mean come on. I missed out on .coms, SaaS, and crypto so idk…

AI is helpful, but no one sane can imagine the current AI shit to return the money and resources that were invested into it.
Longer term, sure... somehow the plumbers might also want to use AI. Maybe it can review camera footage and organize their schedules?
Besides they're attacking the consumer hardware market directly. I hope they get their karmic retribution for that soon.

I'm not kidding when I say this, I think AI's primary function is to be able to write adverts and shill itself. That's what it's best at doing right now.
There is real value to gain from using AI, but they are secondary to this. It is a machine made to sell itself and that is what it has been doing best.
So be aware of that. Value for AI is something users figure out very fast when they get their hands on the product. You might be able to trick them once and that's it.
