How the fuck do you make a Twitter account without a phone? All the emails are capped and the only ones that work are those that ask you for a phone.
Why does every social media service ask you for your phone now?

I want to call my local politicians names.
I know for a fact that some of them have Twitter and read the twits. I know some of them read my messages because I've heard them talk publicly about it with the same words.
Calling politicians NIGGER is my God given right and I want to use it. I don't remember making an account being this hard.

Trust me, I really don't think signing up is worth it anyway, you're not missing much. Twitter is nowhere as good as it used to be in the late 2000s and early 2010s. It's mostly just a bunch of spam, political astroturfing and AI slop now. It's been ripped inside-out and torn to bits.

Well mainstream media in my country won't report on everything. If someone kills a lil girl or so, they would just report "a man raped someone". On X you'll get name and background (like he's been a police known illegal from Syria who's been living in the country for 15 years without permit, tolerated by the authorities and on welfare checks).

>arrive in new country
>get prepaid phone number
>sign up for facebook to look for rooms to rent
>autobanned from the start before I can even customize my profile
>look into it
>now even prepaid isn't enough. they only accept postpaid goys now.
if you didn't join before the AI scammer era you're shit out of luck. they don't care about growth anymore. they want to shrink their user base and get rid of the scammers if anything

She didn't say that. The article has been translated from English to turkroach and then back to English again
What she said was clearly a joke

it doesn't really make sense that you'd need a phone number. twitter explicitly allows bots. so it's not like a spam prevention thing, or a human verification thing. maybe convenience for the end-user, or security through 2FA, but if they opt out of that, what's the problem?
i just don't think it should be mandatory. to the extent that i really can't come up with a reason to make giving out your phone number "required" for any website at all. it probably should be verboten to require it.

To make a goodie account, you need to introduce a phone. They don't let you make a Google account without a phone.
Using email verification instead of a phone, just to end up creating a mail account with a phone, is an oxymoronm. It's not that difficult to understand, is this board full of indians now or what?

I don't even understand how the authorities are claiming that's a "threat" of any kind. How is asking a foreign leader to do something a threat on your part? If I say that I wish President Xi would nuke the US, is that now a credible threat?

NTA, i don't use proxies/vpn and they eventually forced me to use a phone number after like a year. Might've been a bit less than that. Your accounts may still be too new and they may not require it during signup. Although that would surprise me.

That's new, 2 of them are 3+ years old with only one of them being less than a year old.

I might be letting out too much, but I found a way to remain anonymous, eventually using a ProtonMail account, which isn't blacklisted, without giving out any personal information. But I think I'll keep the details to myself.

>send some appeals
>get 2 emails saying my account is back and no violation was found
>try to log in
>still suspended
It's shit, there are no humans operating twitter anymore. It's fed to an ai and if you are lucky you'll get some assistance.

Picrel was the actually problematic message.
It's just media engagement baiting by claiming it's about netanyahu.
You are getting scammed, cattle.

X spaces aren't about posting but are vocal chatrooms. The other day i found a room with boomers reminiscing their time at programming 48-bit mainframes from Burroughs system. Not everything on internet is bad or mediocre, anon.

Western governments moved to ban easy access to anonymous prepaid sims just coincidentally at the same time as every major website started enforcing SMS based 2FA or account creation. Best not to think about it :^)

No she was dumb enough to actually say some dude was going to bomb the place where there was a convention going on.
The netandyahoo part is actually the click bait part of the article
She clearly articulated a threat/message of through electronic means and ran afpul of multiple federal and state statues
She might be able to plea out a misdemeanor, or even beat the charge with a good lawyer, but bomb threats are taken deadly serious and for good reason. So it isn't surprising she was arrested
