The only AI software I use stays local. It hardly works for my use case let alone anyone elses, and we're not even considering code quality here, just "does it actually work or not?".
And even then, this only ever works when the problem is nothing more complex than merging existing solutions. Creating new things with it is so arduous that I question if it's costing more time for lower quality versus doing it by hand.

Over the last 2 months we have rewritten all our code in Rust, for instance.
