>Cisco, which had a history of backdoors
>suddenly activated their backdoors during a war
WHAT!? No way!!!
This was what Trump meant when he said he could "shut down everything without a weapon" during a war.

Why would Iran use American networking hardware when China makes their own?

>The president is a corrupt asshole who's making deals with china to secure an escape route when he loses his next elections
>He asked the security minister to draft a fake document with fake experts to go forward with the china deal
>Same expert committee that never existed in the pandemic and people had to sue the government to end lockdowns and mask mandates
>People in the rest of the world somehow takes these absolute corrupt clowns seriously as if the whole frankenstein government isn't corrupt from top to bottom and one of the parties in it is a literal terrorist organization
I fucking hate outsiders taking whatever this subnormal says seriously, like can't you see he's just making a new discourse every other week to dilute their corruption cases?

>Why aren't they using chinese networking equipment?
probably don't trust the chinese at all, and with good cause but what i think happened:
1. telcos importing shit into the country, maybe bypassing sanctions, dodgy gear is intercepted at some point and someone inserts implants or modifies the software, maybe done well before it's sold to them on the black market, and nobody putting any thought into
2. equipment telcos are running is so out of date and vulnerable that old exploits worked like a charm
3. iranian security services are asleep at the wheel
my guess is 1. and 2.

I always found it funny when tards say no don't buy chinese they will spy on you!!! Who cares if the chinoese spy on you? I much rather have them do it than amerifats or eutards since the chynos have no reason to.

America has Israeli backdoors. China has communist backdoors. There is no escpae using (((their))) tech.

The origin of the networking equipment is irrelevant, they all have exploits
>>
>>108662445
if they have backdoors to reboot like that, then they see whole internet like a literal spiderweb, VPN ain't shit for them, they use AI to match your packet speed frequency and size in 4D space like gods

>Cisco
>Juniper
>FortiNet
>MikroTik
Brands that are known for needing meticulous configuration to not fuck yourself over (especially MikroTik's RouterOS fucktardation), used by a bunch of Middle Eastern shitskins.
Yep, totally backdoors and not goatfuckers not knowing how to configure edge networking devices right to not get instaraped by rookie mistakes.

Nooo not the heckin routerinos! How will brown men be able to shoot guns without watching sissy hypno tiktoks beforehand? How did anyone ever wage war or commit any act of violence before Cisco came along?
>>
>>108662445
You think US intelligence services would be aware of all the exploits in their "own" hardware and software? Not even remotely.
The french are the only nation state who really does it right, using less complex formally verified software stacks.
>>
>>108669939
I had mine misconfigured for a while and at random times I occasionally had DNS hijacks redirecting me to dodgy porn sites. Lessons learned, now my config is tight and I wrapped my head around RouterOS more.
I also remember Cisco having an exploit that allowed you to bypass the web login, but only if you exposed the web login to the web. MikroTik had a similar issue that led to the Meris botnet which is still active and causes issues since MikroTik offers really powerful hardware for the price, and again, it required the WinBox port to be exposed to the web. I only expose a WireGuard port and do remote work from there.
Basically, if you've been around networking gear like this, you'll know that if you misconfigure your shit you can get your shit fucked easily. And I don't think Iran knows how to configure their shit. By the way, remember Stuxnet?

USrael blew their load to early.
When you're going to (ab)use a backdoor in such an obvious way that your nme notices, you make sure it's a final move they can't recover from.
Sacrificing decades for nothing. Well played, guys.

>corporate/banking level
Needs absolutely nothing special. They just employ Cisco certified retards for managerial purposes. Like other Anon said, it's 20yo hardware. I doubt they were even surprised because it's hardly the first time western supplied computers fucked them. Cheaper to keep using what they have and deal with cyberattacks than rebuild everything from the ground up using Chinese or domestically produced hardware.

I think America is like a big attack dog being led on a chain around by Israel at this point.
At one time it was an incredibly clever source of subterfuge and Extend Embrace Extinguish philosophy but having so many Jew Tools in a row as presidents and politicians have effectively neutered it and made these tools an extension of Mossad tools. And Mossad is notorious for getting one leg-up on the opponent, blowing it in a show of force, and never being able to do that again. See: The whole thing with pagers which just convinced them to use Russian-made equipment with no supply chain leaks.

We aren't ran by intelligent individuals who used to do this routinely and keep extras on top of that.
We're ran by the equivalent of apes who inherited an Alien Civilization that they, themselves, don't understand. They just know that they scream and throw their own shit and things happen.

I wonder why they bought american shit instead of chinese. China is an ally and they might have less backdoors (because the west really doesn't want chinese backdoors, but american ones may be accepted).
