>make KDE a mainstream option
>inmediatly becomes buggy and krashy
>have to delay the release twice
will they learn their lesson?

I don't see why I'm supposed to be upset about this. Fedora KDE 43 exists and works perfectly. I remember not really noticing any difference after upgrading from 42 which also worked perfectly. I'm not in any particular hurry for 44 and I'm glad they're not rushing it.

>make KDE a main option in a distro that matters
>suddenly KDE has to fix bugs in a timely manner
This isn't a bad thing, this will simply hasten the end of the krash era because of a forced culture change
Soon there won't be any valid reason to touch gnome

because in plasma 6 the krashes are overwhelmingly from shitty distros

Not sure if you are trolling or just low IQ, you can use the beta.

In a vacuum, we got it right years ago. Distros have a knack for fucking it up endlessly.
Reminder that the only reason the "yes, do as I say" incident happened was because PopOS's installer lacked features that Ubuntu, the distro it's based on, already has.

Fedora 44 is due for release while Fedora 43 GNOME STILL fatally freezes your computer when you select your timezone on the first boot setup wizard
maybe try not using nigger rigged garbage distros that somehow swindled their way into a positive reputation?
I've had browsers on Windows krash on me more than vanilla KDE 6

kde is such a spaghetti piece of shit i have legiyimately never tried it without getting bugs within minutes and the feature bloat and inconsistent UI make it really fucking annoying to use
on the other hand if someone is actually maintaining a certain part well you get dolphon which is by far the best gui file manager

I am told by fucking ai-slop that on hyprland i need to tinker before i can for example "play vidya" - install x11 for steam, and it will not display or some shit
and need drivers for vulkan? I though you get them with GPU drivers etc.
How is this true, who is using WM?

Don't mix me up with the Indian schizo who refuses to post beef; Plasma 4 overpromised and the default ricing on a lot of distros looked fucked up. OpenSUSE looked fucking amazing on Plasma 4 but then you have something like Kubuntu which was complete ass during the Plasma 4 era.

I'd rather go tty-only than use a gtk+ DE
also, lxqt was made to be window manager and compositor agnostic, so if you use it with a wayland wm it works with wayland, while if you use it with an X wm it works with X, too
and since lxqt is all about choice I can't wait till the (((usual suspects))) start attacking it

I want GNOME 50 now though. They're improving Nautilus thumbnailing speed finally. This is extremely relevant to digging through huge 4chan folders for jpgs which is one of the most important reasons anyone might use a computer.

inferior distro moment
t. running latest plasma on artix runit and zero issues

i remember plasma 5 having potential but being full of krashes, now plasma 6.6 is a world of difference. it made me abandon autismwms completely, it's a cohesive desktop experience that doesn't feel like some put together frankenstein and also isn't nerfed to shit like gnome
