Why are AIs so overhyped if they are actually really retarded?

overhyping the next big thing(tm) is how our entire economy functions nowadays

Silicon valley actually thought that progress would remain exponential. Unfortunately they largely plateaued 2 years ago and aren't the big world changing tech that they needed to repay the loans. They know they need new tech, but time's already up.

Crypto isn't what it used to be, turns out you can only create so many meme/scam coins before people figure out what you're doing.

It's always a waste of time. What possible benefit could there be?
If you already know it's wrong, and you already know the correct answer, that part of the transaction is complete. It's not a person you can teach the error of their ways.
If it gets things wrong that you do not know the right answer yourself, but you know it's wrong, just move on to another approach.
People who apply the same patterns they might use when talking to a person to talking to an AI are pretty stupid. If they'd examine what they're doing for a minute and they'd understand it won't have the desired effect.

Economy is power-driven and not value-driven.
Plebs have no power.
Tech bros do.

which is a bit of a fucking issue when you are relying upon AI to do anything complex. Or even trusting it to do something simple, without hallucination or fuckup.

Bubbles are what the entire West focuses on.
The rest is legacy industry you can't make any serious profits on anymore.

We're witnessing the biggest exit pump known to mankind where international capital is draining the US for everything it's worth before discarding it like a dried husk.

And where will it go? lmao

Sometimes the AI just likes to hallucinate that something it CAN do is now against the TOS. Yes, proompters have to beg the machine to do what they want, and every time they do it costs them money.
These people would be relentlessly humiliated if people actually knew what vibe coding was like, it's so fucking funny.

It saves time most of the time, and when it's wrong, you can usually tell that it's uncertain, unless you're stupid.
