will these really not work with carriers in the west? I used to have a xiaomi redmi, it still works but havent tested a new sim with it. ordering it was like finding a hack, high quality cheap phone.

Nobody needs that, it's useless trash like any other "smart" phone. People use them because they have no choice. Why everyone uses them? Because everyone uses them.
If they cease to exist tomorrow, the world would become a better place by a lot.

Samshit is overpriced and underpowered
Crapple is a scam outright

Depends on the phone. With chinkphones you have to do your homework on which bands they support vs. which ones your carrier offers rather than simply walking in and buying one that Justwerks™. It's a crapshoot as to whether they'll support the newest 5G LTEBQ++ HSPA 3.2 Gen E that the American networks are pushing. I admittedly haven't used a chinkphone for a few years, though, so who knows if there are more barriers to entry now.

NTA, I never did any research whatsoever on that, I just bought online whatever seemed to fit my specs (usually just pop up camera, so I can see apps trying to sneak a selfie). It usually just werked as far as network connections go. Is "land of the free" worst in this regard than huehuezil?

are you talking about chink chinkphones or global chinkphones? because in the case of the latter, they have to just werk or they wouldn't get approved

All modern chipsets support the same 5G SA bands anywhere.
Used to be on 4G you'd maybe get B1 and B2 on a chink phone in the US. Any lower frequency bands for 4G were non-existent and you'd be on GSM outside cities.
All chipset manufacturers forced you to either buy global frequency modems or US domestic market modems.
If you get a 5G SA phones it'll work on any open carriers in the US

My Ulefone gets just as good reception as their carrier model Galaxy S23

Shill me a good secure from viruses workhorse phone from China, please.
>t. Moving from iPhone 6s I’ve had since I was a teenager.
Not interested in phone gaming and might do a little hentai reading so security from viruses is a bit of a necessity.

>NONONONO GUYS YOU SEE THIS LATEST PHONE SLOP HAS THE CHINGCHONG 500 PROCESSOR WITH 50 CORES AND 120 GIGAWATTS OF RAM
It truly is remarkable how third worlders still give a shit about the specs of their over-glorified media players. Specs stopped mattering on Smartphones years ago. The smartphone market as a whole is a meme. Sure you can force it to do shit that their form factors were never designed for like emulating games from actually capable platforms but unless you enjoy holding a 100 degree F brick in your hands you probably won't

anon, 4gb is borderline unusable. you open a web browser and everything dies
8gb is cutting it too close as well
>100 degree F brick
not anymore thanks to manufacturers finally getting their heads out of their asses and deciding to let you bypass the battery entirely

Nah, the US doesn't.

American citizens need to be spied on by American/Jewish hardware.

I want a phone the size of an iPhone Mini. As a plan B, something not bigger than the normal base iPhone at least. How many chinkphones are there? None? Oh... More like chunkphone amirite?
