Actually scratch all that, it does work. You have to use the actual download url and not the page url. Only problem is the filenames are fucked up this way, but it otherwise works fine.

Oh sure, manually getting the download link will always work as long your browser isn't on a separate VPN, but the link will only work for about 10 minutes; you might as well just click the download button then, because that's what mpv is really doing (except it won't save the file to disk of course).

The problem is automatically getting the download link without opening the page in a browser. Until the PR is merged, you'll only get the 360p version that way.

Some people buy voice packs, but these are really lame because the pre-recorded voices hardly ever match the animation properly and it usually just looks bad. Perfect is the enemy of good enough.
It will never be perfect, there will always be something you can improve, but you have to know when to say it's good enough.
I mean look at the videos some of the large creators produce, like erenarin, clunky as fuck, but they perform extremely well and gooners don't care about the jank.
If you are unsure if some segment is good enough, you can just drop a WIP here and ask what others think about it. Even in after party, while not perfect, the quality was plenty good and just maintaining that would be enough.
Also maybe instead of one mega project maybe do some smaller ones instead? It will lead to less burn out and less pressure from having patrons waiting for a long time.

Far be it for me to tell you how to run things, i made $0 with my mmd slop so far, but why are you losing a "shit ton of money"? You don't need to pay a single cent to make a great animation. There are plenty of high quality free models, free sound effect packs, voice acting packs, stages.. Blender is completely free as well. Let alone paying for concept art, why do you even need that at all?

I am not saying you should never hire voice actors or commission models, but you should wait with all that until you release few more videos and build up your following and patreon income some more. Going balls deep, selling your car and put all that money into the projects when you are just starting out and have no idea if it works out is...certainly a peculiar decision. Specially when you can produce just as good animations without spending a single cent. (apart from getting a decent PC if you have a potato).
Basically don't over commit from the start, it will add needless extra pressure to perform.

is it mmd? in blender i would do it by adjusting the intensity of various lights, to make lighting look less flat, altho for anime models you often want flat-ish lighting. You can also try to change the skin tone to a bit more pink to make to make her look livelier. Or tint the lights as the other anon said, or even try to adjust color profile curves later in Davinci (or whatever you use to edit videos)

No. I've seen plenty of JAV VR and it works the same. You have 3 types of VR usually. Split screen left/right 180, split screen left/right 360, and 360 top and bottom. Then you can also have fisheye or no fisheye lens on recording, but that's not really an issue digitally. I suppose you could set it like that though. Usually 180 left/right is the least distorted, but if you are good at digital scaling you can do 360. So many people get scaling wrong. You can also have a slight offset to improve the 3D effect with a 2nd camera angle instead of just doing the same video side by side.

The big don't of VR is to not move the camera because you'll make the person watching motion sick.
