Alright so how do I actually get started on this thing? I'm not religious, I don't believe this is the word of god and I'm not looking to be converted.
>just read it lol

Nice try but I know people have died just for doing that, this thing is obviously dangerous and irresponsible leaving it up to individuals to 'just read'. So what should I do? I have this pipe dream that I'll become well-versed enough in the bible to own larping Christkeks but really I just wanna know what all the schizophrenia is about

Read Old Testament until you get to the boring laws. Then read New Testament all the way through. Come back and the Mosaic laws will make more sense from a Christian context. Commentaries and intros from various church fathers also help.

Read an annotated edition of the Bible containing notes from biblical scholars

Start with the new testament. It also helps if you have a study Bible

Download a copy of the program "eSword". Not only does it give you a choice of translations (I'd go KJV), but it also gives you access to commentary and Strongs (word definitions).

Then I would do a combination of this >>18432105 and this >>18432085

Just read it. People who tell you not to do thst are worried that if you just read it you'll notice how stupid the old testament it.

it sucks if you take it literalistically
if you realize it's a collection of esoteric writings where everything has layered meaning then it's actually pretty cool

Just read this book. And then these.
The Bible Unearthed. Israel Finkelstein.
In Search of 'Ancient Israel'. Philip R. Davies.
The Origins of Judaism. Yonatan Adler.
Yahwism under the Achaemenid Empire. Gad Barnea.
Becoming Diaspora Jews. Karel van der Toorn.

You don't need to be knowledgeable to be a fedoralord. Just ask claude to summarize other fedoralord talking points and you too can 'rape the christkeks' or w/e

Anyone who considers the laws of God boring will never be saved. Psalm 119 is a poem about how valuable the law of God is and how lucky we are to have it and it's the longest psalm in the bible. Each verse starts with each letter in the Hebrew alphabet.

Start with John (Jesus) then go to Revelation (Apocalypse), after that 1 and 2 Samuel (King David) then go to Judges (lots of stories you'll recognize like Gideon).

That's the tour of the most interesting and reader-friendly books (in my opinion), and you'll really get most out of it that way.

You're better off reading something actually useful, like a cookbook. If you already have the book, you can use it as toilet paper.

go to a priest or bishop, and suck his dick.

Read the Enuma Elish first since the old testament plagiarized the Enuma Elish.
>>
>>18432713
What would you say is the single strongest piece of evidence for this ostensible plagiarism?
>>
>>18432794
Genesis and the story of the flood just for starters. Psalms 82. The divine council with the gods determining the flood to wipe out mankind. Its all in the Enuma Elish.

>Genesis and the story of the flood just for starters.
And what specifically in these accounts evinces plagiarism? The fact that the world was made and then flooded early on by the divine? Most cultures believe this, because this is true.

>Psalms 82.
So there are 150 Psalms and you can find...one single one to accuse of plagiarism?

And even then, plagiarism about...what?

>The divine council with the gods determining the flood to wipe out mankind.
Nearly every culture has a flood account like this, because such a divine flood genuinely took place.

This, then move on to Joshua and Ruth, and the. Daniel and Esther for a continuation of historical lore, then finally read Exodus and Genesis (in that order) to get ancient Bronze Age lore. Once done with the lore, go to Ecclesiastes for some existential religious discourse, and read the first and last few chapters of Job (before his friends start yapping and after God arrives to flex respectively). Finally read Psalms, but it’s long and you can come back to it later.

Sometime after reading Daniel and before Esther, read the book of Acts (re-read John for more context if needed), then read Revelations. Once done with the philosophical discourse of Ecclesiastes and the dist and last of Job, read Luke and start reading the Epistles. Looking at the change in theology from Ecclesiastes+Job+Judges/Samuel to Luke+John to Epistles is useful to see how Christian theology developed from First and Second Temple Judaism.

Don't, there's a reason why religiosity is linked to lower iq. In my experience, it's causative. The following and believing of white light religions causes lower iq. It's, like I said, my experience as a 17 year old experience in spiritual pursuits dude, clocking many hours of diverse practices spanning several religions and both sides.
It's my heavily backed by these practices and their results opinion that you should not bother with Christian religion. Infact, I'm amused enough with the matter that I would advice any form of adversarial current, not because I'm in jest but because, sincerely, whenever I've tried both, light has ruined my life, mental health and bank account, whereas Darkness has been a positive.

I'm not a cultist, after all we arent offered a boon for recruiting, this is merely my subjective experience, colored as it may be by my own perception.

And if you arent interested in religion, spiritual pursuits or their practice, do yourself the favour of reading a better selection of written word. You'll be thankful you did.

The titles to each book have a meaning so you're not confused eg. Matthew = Gift of God; that goes with every Jewish name too. Then, "eat" whatever you are "hungry" for (refer to verse). You can organize them by day sometimes or if you git gud eg. Proverbs chapter number by day of the month. Take this as your reward for not being on reddit.

I'm tired of mentally ill people on this board.

I'm euphoric not because I'm blessed by the phone god but because I'm enlightened by mt practice of meditation and am God myself.
*Tips*

Start by understanding two things:

1. The Bible is the perception of Prophets and Evangelists about God and His Son. It is not the Word of God, like the Quran and the Vedas

2. The perception of those people was upside down, so they thought Jesus said something absurd like "Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword", even with this going directly against all Jesus' teachings, and you'll find many fake Christians trying to defend and to explain this, doing some serious mental gymnastics, when the explanation is pretty simple: it was the Apostle's distorted perception that made him think Jesus said that.

Sounds really masonic desu. Only christians and masons really understand whats going on. Except masons follow the darkness as you put it. And christians follow the light.
