It makes sense if you think about it. Like you're a cop. You want to infiltrate the leftists. Arcane theory might not be your strong suit, but if the values being emphasized are about being hard and militant, you can play that role pretty easily, and get people to do things as well because you can call them a faggot or a pussy if they won't do the thing which will send them to prison.
