I unironically feel social anxiety in the church. It's getting better, but it has always been like this, since I was little kid. Also in the churches where I live they like loud music and it's annoying, most of the mass before the homily is about loud instruments being blasted on speakers with poor acoustics. Early Zoomer here. Yesterday I went to church, and then I realized something.
I don't actually believe in any of this stuff. I don't believe in the Holy Trinity or Transsubstatiation, or the Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary.
I go to church every Sunday, but I don't believe in any of this stuff. Sure, maybe there is something beyond the universe that is the ultimate cause of everything in the universe, but to go from there to talking about divine miracles just seems like too big of a logical leap for me.
