the oppressed white groups (irish and italians) are known for being some of the most uber racists
in fact, the 1863 draft riots were so extreme they even made the original anglo whites piss their pants

The only impression I've come across which suggests this was the work by Gerald of Wales, which isn't very accurate but IS extremely funny to read.
At the time of the first English invasion of Ireland (late 12th Century) there were not only multiple cities in Ireland but several with very well established political, religious, and mercantile links to both Britain and the continent. Whether they were Viking Longports turned cities such as Dublin or Waterford or Gaelic settlements like Armagh or Galway, urbanisation was much slower but absolutely underway. Irish law (secular, not just ecclesiastical) was also very well developed and implemented right across the island. The Norman invasion had a great deal of luck; the counteroffensive by the High King at the time put the invaders severely on the back foot and they were on the brink of accepting him as their overlord were it not for an extremely lucky raid on the siege camp outside Dublin followed by the intervention of Henry II.

Dublin was probably the most lucrative on account of the market and the extremely powerful fleet winning it the support of successive High Kings-even those who weren't originally based there. Each Overkingdom (Connacht, Munster, Ulster, Meath, Munster) had one or two major urban centres or markets, but the east coast was richer on account of its closer trade links.

NTA but they're "Provinces" which many historians refer to as "Overkingdoms" (some texts will call them cúige).
They absolutely were Kingdoms; the King of Munster, for example, held a lot of influence over the various other kingdoms and tribes in his territory. Their involvement in local politics varied from King to King, but they all collected tribute and would expect support in the form of money or men from those in their territory. Meath was the traditional top-dog of them (mostly for ceremonial reasons) but in terms of raw power Ulster and Munster were notorious.

if you research it you discover the irish are responsible for most problems in the west. It's unmistakable.
They all suffer from some sort of shizoid mental condition that means they undermine their own prosperity (i'm quoting a guy from Ireland during the "troubles"). They are incredibly third world mentally, irish try to pass it off as being "punk" but really its just abnormality in their brains.
Things ive noticed like them getting angry at the most trivial stuff or mild humour and banter.
Spontaneously forming grudges over people they just met over nothing.
Conspiracy minded, theres always some nebulous group holding them down, even if they are a well off themselves.
A complete disregard for factual information or reason preferring feelings and emotion over sound arguments
Belligerent behaviour just starting fights and arguments over nothing for the sake of it.
Untrustworthy, prone to betray friends and family at the drop of a hat.
Deceitful, they will mislead even close friends for decades.
Stingy, absurd levels of penny pinching behaviour even if they are well off, basically cannot discuss money matters with them at all.
Theres more but thats the main ones. I've learned from experience and research that when i detect a person is irish to avoid them like the plague.
Actually was the wisdom of ancient Nordics on the Irish they have various cultural phrases about avoiding the irish like the plague. And as an Italian friend told me once "i wouldnt trust an irish as far as you can throw them"

This applies to people with questionable irish ancestry too aka plastic paddies. It's like they are playing up to a stereotype. I generally just stay clear of anyone proudly professing their "irishness" because i know i'm going to be in for an annoying time

German soldiers in the Civil War were pretty awful, you think they were merciless pickelhauber-wearing killing machines in the old country but not here.

that was a Prussian thing, most German immigrants to the US were from western Germany and didn't have the same martial tradition. there were some Prussians but they were well outnumbered by all the immigrants from Saxony, Bavaria, Hesse, etc.
