I think I managed to improve the physics a little by following your advice
I also tried to do an explosion or burst for fun
>>
>>7871960
hell yeah good improvement anon
Good job
as an addition i'd reccomend taking out the frames where the ball is coming back down from the peak of the arc
the ball has gravity helping it come back down so there must be fewer frames there

Also great explosion btw

>>7871970

I'm learning about timing charts right now, but I'm confused of their actual purpose, is it just a production thing for if you hand off your animation to someone else? I can animate without timing charts at all so it just seems like an unnecessary extra step

I don’t really watch modern anime, dear anon. But I suppose they look similar because both characters rely heavily on limited animation.

>>7878053
One of my projects this year is to make a low-poly game with characters that actually adhere to the manifesto of ""my"" +arthos. But outside of south koreans (people I don’t really identify with, to be honest), hardly anyone follows those guidelines. These days I think putting identity and sincerity ahead of instant gratification is just seen as too 'avant-garde'...

nothing burger
its gonna cost a shitload once the bubble bursts and the governments stop subsidizing these server complexes and their ridiculous electricity cost
It'll turn into a niche thing and probably produce shitpost gold tho
it will absolutely kill corporate studios and lead to the rise of independants
>>
>>7879984
I commented on this earlier but I deleted my post when I realized this is appealing to the sakuga crack steroid fight scene fag cancer that infected the anime space post covid. These "fans" haven't forgotten anime isn't just about that, they see anime as a TMNT Trigger light show and are bored of the slower pace, mellowness that anime also brings.

So once again, AI is lowkey highlighting what normal populace likes, not what long time fans know what anime is like. And so, I'm not worried. With that said, there are some impressive stuff I saw I'm not gonna sit here and lie about that.
>>
>>7879988
>it will absolutely kill corporate studios and lead to the rise of independants

I think it's a bit optimistic when we know in terms of animation, anime studios in Japan or rather the IP holders will always look to cut costs. If generating and expensing less animators then it will happen. This is why these IP holders probably aren't saying anything when they're normally anal about copyright and striking down anything usually. They probably see a way to make even more money hiring less. Also doesn't help that the average consumer doesn't care at all as long as they get what they want cheap, fast, and with quality. Which if your models are trained off of all the data of the best animations in the world you get all 3 aspects.
>>
>>7879993
>Seedance Pro (1080p, 5-6 sec): Approximately 370–400 credits per video generation.
>36000 credits per year on the basic plan
>90 times 6 seconds = 9 minutes of an "anime"

with the premium plan being about double the credits and most people aren't paying for the advanced plan I'm sure. There's probably an enterprise plan somewhere maybe but at that point what would be the point? The Japanese would just draw it themselves. So yes, nothingburger.
>>
>>7879999
Is there a reason why these model subscriptions have hard limits like credits? Or is it just a mirage to recoup the costs. Im sure there are cheaper models out there for studios to use to fire animators and do it cheaper
>>
>>7879998
I can see it shave off some work, but I'm not seeing it replace workers entirely at the moment.
>>7880001
because their data centers of great satan use up too much energy
>>
>>7880001
>why these model subscriptions have hard limits like credits?
its retardedly cost heavy
they havent produced a purpose built contraption for animation but rather built a mystery blackbox that 99% of their own coders prolly dont understand the inner workings of
It'd be like the wright brothers promising the SR-71 blackbird jet to the government while only having the kittyhawk in their garage after getting trillions in funding
the AI companies haven't produced a net profit once
even the big government propoganda arm can only prop up a sinking ship for so long in hopes of a miracle
at most some retard will leak the code and a fre-source version will be widely available to anyone with a server stack
Similar to what blender is now

The AIfags will have to downscale and specialize the software into a tool for animators instad of an outright replacement if they ever hope to turn up a commercial profit
>>
>>7880020
to add to this point the human brain still remains the most cost effective computor in the universe and while silicon beast might try they can never truly imitate god's perfection
We were built in God's image not the silicon satan
It'll take just one recession for ai models to no longer be feasable at all

its all in the ease-in and ease-out baby
you overlay that mindset with always moving the subject from the fore-ground to the back-ground and vice versa and boom you've got the winningest formula
dont be decieved by the flatness of your canvas and its overbearing flat paradigm
go outta your way to impose foreground backfround perspective shifts and you'll begin to grasp the faustian animator spirit

Is this work flow a middle ground between 2d animation and 2.5d riging?

Anyone know of any good Adobe After Effects tutorials? Looking to switch over to the motion graphics jobs because holy shit they get paid so much more than 2D animators.

Do you guys use Krita, CSP or others?
I'm just getting into animation now.
Any advice? y'all follow the start guide in the general or did you play around with framerates and just try? Perhaps some other path too!
Grateful for any advice haha trying to do a simple walk across the screen and it's terribly terribly rough, which has some charm then but still, infinitely long to go.

>F(a)Ustian
>Flatness
Goddang.
>Eases
Fair enough but that do not explain how walks tandems in limbs nor in horse trots, nor how follow through explains how limbs should move in idles (with the, main focus whatever)
>Formula
Again this is probably several things at least.
>Shifts
Again I don't understand this.

Damn, it's the valley. And, what his vimeo lingua franca animeshong, again? I forgot it completely.

Sorry I don't think so. Also this is "smooth" enough for me so techniques all appreciated, but you'dnt know how much correction dones just so I can confidently say it's "ok". So.
>>
>>7890105
this is geat perspective
anon the front legs n back legs always miror each other in quadrapeds
if left front leg is ahead then so is the right hind leg
if the legs match step then the animal will literally lean left and right with each step which is bad for vision
>>
>>7886942
this is (me), and i'm still lurking to get shat on over this
>>
>>7890117
Can this all be summarize in, mathemathics perhaps? I naturally thinks all is cycles and the patterns seems convincing. Also the need for correct limbs organization. This calls for mathematical precision. Also, more effective.
>>
>>7890180
how bout you do a human wwalk cycle and an ostrich walk cycle eh buddy?
the normal biped and reverse joint biped are the base walk cycles for every animal out there
horse? man in front legs ostrich in back legs
cats? both ostrich
deear? ostrich front man back
yknow you master the man and ostrich you'll have an easier time doin all others

That's richard'$.
Tbf, maybe I did the one above with that in mind. I did it from memory, and you guess it, that's part of my memory.
Also, the horse, didn't teach me the man and ostrich, after.

Isn't that retarded, or, if the method does needed, just lazy? The procedurals are considered too, afterall. I am so, very inconfident or just impatience, time lacking too. It's also looks... Not sure, actually, I just don't think I have the assessments, and you don't look any, well either. Then again, maybe academy's are all about, getting Lucky's only. I mean, look at their building. Old, building. Old, aging, buildings.
