Finally got Devin Korwin's values course, and Ramon Hurtado's perspective course.

Not thanks to you retards tho. Hopefully, at least, one of you mouth breathers is currently working on pirating Kunomd's and Even Mehl Amundsen's courses, but knowing how retarded the people in here are it won't be case and instead we'll get the same basic construction course, by another chink, which doesn't even help the permabegs as they aren't even able to copy properly so they simply reinforce their bad tendencies.

Fuck you.

I need this now. My wacom pen will not be picked up until Hide 3 is on my hard drive and, no, I haven't finished Hide 1 and 2, but clearly Hide 3 "Learn with formulas and patterns! Easy character detail-up drill" has the missing secrets we've all been waiting for. I mean just look at this first chapter
>4. Five practice methods for correcting distortions in drawings. Warm-up methods for drawing long lines - Practice for correcting shapes - Things you should know when drawing three-dimensional objects - How to simplify and draw three-dimensional objects

LINES! Just like in Hide 1 and 2 he starts with more lines! And how to breathe like Hide and how to moooove like Hide and how to set your posture like Hide before you're worth of learning from Hide. And look here in section 2
>5. Tips for drawing simplified human figures
This was not covered in the first class about human figures. It was delayed because, well, we were not ready to learn how to draw figures using boxes. But in this 3rd installment we are not being treated as retards and are now ready to do the thing Hide 1 was supposed to prepare us for.

Without Hide 3, nothing will make sense. Therefore, I won't draw until Hide 3 is leaked.

i wish more people would post their hide studies and stuff
i've spent the last month studying from him and while i feel i've learned a bunch i'm always doubting if i'm learning "correctly". for me the value is getting a braindead primer of all the muscles, where they are, what they do, etc. so when i go to draw figures i more understand what i see in books like anatomy for sculptors and can match that up to the figure
>>

>i've spent the last month studying from him and while i feel i've learned a bunch i'm always doubting if i'm learning "correctly". for me the value is getting a braindead primer of all the muscles, where they are, what they do, etc. so when i go to draw figures i more understand what i see in books like anatomy for sculptors and can match that up to the figure

Yep, in order to actually understand the human body in a 3d way, other than studying a lot of construction from different angles, you need to do the Scott Eaton anatomy course, and if you want to be even more extreme, complement it with his sculpting course at the same time.

There's a very good reason why Scott is the industry standard for anatomy, he explains each muscle, from all angles, what they do, how they change shape, the most common mistakes, but more importantly he's an extremely good teacher.

Most don't dare to try because the courses are so hard, but they are necessary, imo, doesn't matter how stylized, simplified, or anime is the style you want, learning proper anatomy even if you think you "won't need it" makes you improve considerably.

Once you learn the actual anatomy all the gesture, construction, drawing from imagination courses that people post in here actually becomes something helpful as everything sticks way easier, otherwise you are simply throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
>>
>>7909652
do you think scott has any material benefit over hide? or are you recommending i give him a shot afterwards? from your post it seems like you're saying they roughly do the same thing, go over the muscles in detail
>Once you learn the actual anatomy all the gesture, construction, drawing from imagination courses that people post in here actually becomes something helpful as everything sticks way easier, otherwise you are simply throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
definitely agree with this though. it's good to know how to break the body up into shapes but you can do that even better if you have some understanding of the muscles. i'm still pretty /beg/ so i don't mean to come off as an expert or anything but haha whenever i watch "how i break the body up..." videos they always say something to the effect of "...and i can only do this so well because i understand how the muscles work, you know??"
>>
>>7909660
My advice will always be to get as many interpretations of the same thing, as possible, so definitely give it a shot afterwards.
IMO, and I'm surprised how many online teachers, or art content creators don't hammer it down as much as they should, the main objective of an art /beg/ should be to learn proper "copying" correctly.
If a beginner isn't copying what he's seeing correctly then he's simply creating bad habits which he will later have to work double as hard to erase from his brain. So if you struggle with copying what you are seeing accurately then I definitely think that you should focus on that on the side while you continue the Hide course.

This reason, the getting as many different interpretations of the same topic, is why I personally have been whining about wanting more Underpaint Academy courses pirated for months now, as they do a lot of talking, and not as much hand holding, but they are also very knowledgeable and pretty good artist so they are the perfect courses to reinforce other courses that I've already done or I'm going through.
My personal anatomy journey was I did Ramon Hurtado's Introduction to Figure Construction, to familiarize myself with the larger forms (I decided on him over Michael Hamptom simply because I liked the video quality better, there wasn't really any skill related reason), at the end I definitely didn't really know the names or the muscles, or how exactly they inserted, or why they changed shape and how, but did learn how to construct the human figure for studies. After that I did the very irrational, and painful, trial by fire of doing the Scott Eaton courses at the same time while copying the Morpho books illustrations and Gottfried Bammes' and definitely don't regret it, as painful as it was.

Scott gives a full understanding of the human figure, how it looks, why it looks that way, how the muscles interact, how it affects the surface, etc. But once again, the only problem is that it's really hard.
>>
>>7909689
Ok now pyw
>>
>>7909689
thank you for the detailed post. i do want a really in-depth understanding of anatomy (especially since i hope to break all the rules to sate my niche-ish tastes) so it's helpful to know there's another good course out there that goes muscle by muscle. i know there are books, but i've had issues with reading them hahaha. i much prefer video format. i tried weston but he was messy, tried hampton but he was too slow and doddering... hide's currently best for me, keeps it quick and dumbed down
good luck to you my friend

I googled Scott Eaton:
>Scott takes us on a journey through five years of creative experimentation with machine learning and AI in his artistic practice.
Wtf.

I think rutracker didn’t need an account when I used it. Perhaps they changed it.
>>
>>7909643
>i wish more people would post their hide studies and stuff
I made these figures by applying what Hide teaches
I also watched Scott Eaton; he's very good at learning anatomy, but he doesn't teach how to draw anatomy. He even mentions this in his course.
Hide's course may not be as in-depth as Scott's, but it's eye-opening to learn about drawing with three dimensions
>>

Anyone here willing to share Lucas Peinador's course "How to draw faces like a pro"? https://shop.lucaspeinador.com/pages/flap-landing-page

>>
>>7909979
>$236

modules 1 - 4, 6, hide already covers in great detail. Module 5 "same face syndrome" and 7 "likeness" is subjective. Module 8 facial expressions...theres tons of free videos on youtube. Module 9 and 10 on color and light is padded fluff and the last chapter "full portrait"...just draw what you like.

One last thing, you get out of the courses as much as you put in, you should be drawing along with Scott whenever he's talking.
He shows a Paul Richer anatomy plaque, you should be pausing it and copying it, naming it, etc. Then press play and draw along over the plaque as he explains how the body functions etc.
He shows a human dissection, then you screenshot it and you draw over the dissection just the same as he does, and so on and so forth.

Do all the homework, doesn't really matter if you do it with him when he's reviewing the homework, I don't think it really matters that much if you cheat that way, but you do need to do it.

He recommends the Paul Richer book, but another name he frequently mentions is Gottfried Bammes. There's some versions in the official IC magnet in the book section.
The one I have I got from an anon back in 2018, it's the most complete version that is english that I've seen, but the ones in the magnet, or rutracker, should be enough even if they don't have everything.

Good God I'm having a hard time believing the popular thing is what's in demand
>>
>>7910773
apparently being in demand you need 30 teachers that draw the same exact way than having a teacher just open more seats if the demand is even that high
>>
>>7910777
One teacher that needs to give feedback to 100 students at a time each week is a good idea. Open the seats to 200 more students because demand is high.
>>
>>7910783
managed to work for my art classes but it wasn't 100 for a single day (thats stupid), it was probably 100 students altogether. for example, mon/tues/wed and there'd be 2-3 other teachers also teaching but they were different, for example you'd have vilppu teaching in a class and huston in another. i didn't learn from them but they ran the same system when they were teaching live classes, not sure if they still are
btw chinese online classes actually do that 100 students thing but they have TAs assist them, like 3-4 TAs

I haven't gone through it yet (I'm currently studying other stuff), but I did skim it and watched some sections.

My impression is that it works best as a complementary course. So you first do either Erik Olson's or Marshall's, and then you do Ramon's, as what he advocates, using irl clay or 3d software to build basic forms or construct a basic scene, works best built upon more traditional, academic, perspective knowlege.

There is a program I forgot (maybe yt-dlp, from GitHub), which joins the parts together automatically.
You have to find out the link of what I call the "master", by looking for it in the html or network explorer of your browser.
I remember it took some attempts maybe because I had to play with the parameters of the link (it passed too much time, I can't remember), so it won't be easy.

This is why I said >>7916733 that patching is useless, as an alternative way for download can be created.

Half of the course is all about anatomy and figures in perspective, unlike the 2023 edition, which only had one chapter about figures.
-2023 edition(90% perspective/10% figures in perspective)
-2025 edition (50% perspective/50% figures/anatomy)

Thanks. Some parts of the course are uploaded, but the entire course. I guess that's something. (though would still appreciate the entire course, I'm considering just getting a subscription for a month just for that one and ripping it, though I don't know how to rip it)
Your second link doesn't work btw.
